They're going a bit mad in Cologne. My brother has a pub basically outside the door and they are living the dream.

Seriously, I have never seen scenes like that in Germany before. Thery really were dancing in the streets and holding up the traffic. (But not the trams!)

Lucky guess! Not that it's relevant but I'm returning for the Hannover v St Pauli game at the begining of October.

Most (football type) people I know regard Germany as rather refreshing this time around. Honest and disciplined hard work and slick football.
