Sorry for spamming the thread but the German v Argentina game was fantastic to watch. Germany playing fantastic football and so good to watch. This is how I wanted England to play . The games have been getting better and better .

I agree CV, it would have been great to see England play better, but I have to be partisan.

Fabregas had better get used to the sight of that bench.Reference:

Says it all really, they got so many good players that Fabregas who ran riot over the EPL for Arsenal can't make the starting 11.Reference:

Probably the next world cup, both Xavi and Alonso may possibly be retired from international football by then. Fabregas is only 23, the same for Silva aswell who is 24.Reference:

Well, I don't get that. I know you know a lot more about it than I do, but it seems crazy not to involve Fabregas.Reference:

I can't really say if I would play Fabregas, I don't watch La Liga much so I have no idea how Alonso has done. Apparently he's had a good world cup so far though.
I'd love to see Spain go out but Paraguay really are pants they always look as though they're playing for a draw in a knockout tournament.
Before anybody shouts at me, I know I'm biased, but this isn't nearly as exciting as the Germany/Argentina match.

It's turgid. Hard to believe one of these teams will be in a world cup semi final.Reference:

Im inclined to agree now.I expected the Spanish to step it up a gear now that they were in the quarter final. Spain look abit like England tbh, alot of big names in there but can't produce the goods as a team. Its got to be between Germany and Holland now.
Fabregas coming on.
Penalty to Paraguay
Penalty saved.
Penalty to Spain
To me to you?

Prom, I know I'm biased, but it's not as entertaining as the Germany/Argentina match. Or is it just me?
Having said that, Spain have suddenly jumped into action. Carry on, I say.
