So it's  confirmed then, England V Germany. I've had the match on beside me but with the sound down. Forgive me,   I've been drinking due to something else that happened today(but can still punctuate)

After the first 2 completely shite perfomances have to say today was absolutely brilliant to watch! BUT after all the buzz died down and the post-mortem began, it showed that there is still a HELL of a lot of work to do if we in any way want to stand a chance in this tournament.

We should have scored at least 3 more goals, the amount of missed opportunities and reckless playing was shocking, however, I think they were more focused on defence after the first goal. Given the players that we have, we should have sailed through to the last 16 being top of our group, the fact we barely made it through is not good and doesn't bode well for our chances against the giants.

However, the job they set out to do was done. And that's the black and white of it (for now). As I understand it we need a win on Sunday aswell, draw or lose and game over. I get enough Sunday nerves watching Columbo FFS

We need to win to move on ....it'll go to extra time in the event of a draw - and the penalties I assume (is there a golden goal?) Whatever - there has to be an out and out winner in order to move on.
