For England to work, what is needed is to drop lumpolard pure and simple, he was the worst player on the park.

Why oh why we never saw Joe Cole I have no clue.

Playing Gerrard on the left is a waste of him, Heskey works hard but is useless, Terry's backpass.

I would say Cashley was our best player.

Looney was useless, everytime bar twice he got the ball he gave it away, that is two games in a row now he has done nothing.

Dreadful game, dreadful performance.

Rooney is getting a right kick in on 5 live. Capello is getting it from everywhere. Apparently his latest trick is to pretend he can't understand English now when he could understand it well enough when things were going well. Rooney is getting it for criticising the fans booing as well
LOL and too right,

Aright no one played even approaching average tonight, but Looney is a world class player at United, but a complete liability for England, I can see him getting sent off next match, with an attitude like that.

OK capello has to take some blame, we needed a change of tactics, not like for like subs, United, Chelsea, all the top teams do not play 4-4-2 week in week out, nor do liverpool, Spurs are the only top club that does.

However, that does not excuse the lack of any ability to pass or hold the ball....

Lol Pam.
David James's interview was very telling I thought - try to have a listen to it if you get a chance, they may have it on the Beeb website.
Nothing he said as such but I got the feeling that he is very unhappy with Capello. When he was told by the interviewer that Capello had said the team were playing with too much fear or pressure. he snorted a sarcastic "Does he?" and he didn't seem very happy when describing when the team find out whether they're starting the match.
Cigs - I do blame Capello tbh. We shall see if he can turn it around against Slovenia but if he does it really will be a great escape!
