The only interesting thing in the first half of that game was the bird chillaxing at the back of Algeria's goal

Because other teams have several players that can score goals but Man U seemed to have only him and played him game in and game out til he was run into the ground.There are a lot of reasons why players produce for their clubs and not for their country: position, team mates, formation etc.
But I do think for some of them that the fact they're not being paid 150 grand a week has an impact. Not for Rooney btw.

We don't need a defensive striker lol we need someone to put the ball in the back of the net. Heskey couldn't score in a brothel and his final ball is always disastrous. Rooney's getting zero service playing alongside one of the worst footballers in the Premier League. You don't seem to think a striker should be given service I'm kind of speechless at that.
