That 'first site' was a techy support place. So it wasn't possible for us to be there for any great legth of time. For what it's worth, I think we will still be called GaGaJoyJoy over there.

yeah me too, I don't mind what format it's in....it's only because we are used to this and have had it for the past 6 years or so that we resent/don't want the change.

I'll whinge on about it for a while then when I get used to it I'll forget all about this format and crack on!

I've never been easy with change. I get confused, and LiveCloud, at the moment totally confuses me. But I don't like to look a gift horse in the mouth, and am grateful that there are people out there trying to accomodate us.

I love this current format and don't think the new one will be much like it, as far as I can gather. However, I will give it a try and see how it goes.

Apparently, there are loads of people willing to help us find our way around, and I shall ask these kind people about any problems I have. I'm sure they will be able to help us all.

She may not be successful in asking for a similar format as Gaga to be transferred to Livecloud but she has EVERY right to try if that`s what she wants to do.

Squiggle if you want a forum format similar to what we have here then you will have to purchase an Eve community package and set one up for yourself..

The first place we we at. . Eve Community Support, was something Bov found as a holding place until we could all sort something out where everybody would be happy with the main emphasis being on unknown Mods running a forum rather than offshoot forums run by forum members, and it was something I was already a member of for 3 years before ever anybody migrated over there. . Now, that place AND LiveCloud are all owned by our current hosts who were already planning to branch out their business and create a media type community [from what I gather] so they welcomed us and set up this place as a temporary measure away from their Support forum until they had sorted the other stuff out..

Now that they have their commercial site up and running they are importing us into it. . The style of the commercial site is different to their Eve forums so they are changing over our format..

The most important thing tho is that you don't ever need to visit the blogs or walls or FB type stuff over there all you have to do is keep your links to these forums and you will automatically be directed to the new forum format when it moves over. . You don't need to know or be bothered that it is being hosted elsewhere . . Just know that it IS being run by the same people from Eve and here..

Also we have no rights to demand anything on here at all.. we are guests and always have been.. I personally like this style of forum and would prefer if they had just left it as is but clearly that is not how it is going to be.. Obviously in order to maintain and run ALL of their Media based community it is probably easier to have it all under one roof and of the same format..

So far they have been very helpful with trying to build in most of the same functionality we have here, over there, to make the transition of format easier.. to demand rights is not on IMO.. ask questions and if they can they will help.. simples..

don''t forget tho, all you really need is the same links you have to here to carry on as before. .the forum will just look a bit different.. that is the ONLY difference to what we have now...

Yes, I will agree she has every right to ask Gaga but no-one has any right to speak on behalf of other FMs or to assume that they know what the forum as a whole wants.

I was getting the white iphone but Mr Q has (black) one and he put me off it, he doesn't like his that much. So that's why I settled on the Blackberry instead.

Livecloud seems to be a place geared towards the American teenage market. I and lots of FMs don't want twitter, Facebook or any other nonsense. Just a plain old forum to post on.
