Squiggle..... no one is shouting anyone down, and I think dismissing anyone who likes it as "uber confident" is actually insulting. Yes, you are entitled to your concerns.... but we are also entitled to our enthusiasm.

That is your interpretation of my post Ducky and is not, in my opinion, accurate. I was not insulting anyone just trying to get across the point that we all have different speed settings and it is unfair of those who grasp the whole change quickly to make those who are slower feel that they are falling behind. I have tried to be scrupulously polite to everyone but I have noticed some more ready to attack than others, and that is not aimed at you or anyone in particular, it is just a comment.

Incidentally I have been posting on the support forum today, trying to iron out some difficulties I am finding with it and I still think it operates like a sick camel.

I felt insulted Squiggle. I don't think accusing people of shouting you down is polite. Differing opinions and calm discussion is not shouting people down.

I completely agree with you about expressing concerns and asking questions. This thread has been very useful in that respect, I have learnt a lot myself. I haven't seen any posts here imply that people are slow if they don't get it straight away. I have only seen lots of people helping each other through the problems.

I am not intent on loving LC for the sake of it.... I've just accepted there is going to be change. Everyone is working really hard to make that change as comfortable as possible and that's all we can expect.

I personally feel that coming in here and saying it "operates like a sick camel" is rude. You know this thread is read by the very people who are running LC. It's not what I would call scrupulously polite.

The sick camel remark is my opinion Ducky and I was under the impression that I, along with every one else was entitled to one.

I have actually felt very shouted down. If you were to read back through this thread you would see that many times I have had people going on that we did not need 'yet another thread'. I was concerned for those members of our community who need a hand and I feel that they have got this in this thread. But now it seems that maybe at my expense.

As this thread has gone on for so many pages maybe we did need this thread after all.

I am trying to give the new forum the best try that I can. I like many others like this forum because it is simple and easy to use. Others like the new features. But you especially seem very keen to just have a go at me. So I am finishing this dialogue now.

I sincerely hope that everyone gets on really well with the change and that it all works out for the best.

All opinions are valid by definition...but validity does not automatically mean they aren't rude.

I'm going to go back to what to what I was doing Squiggle.... helping out if it's needed.

Thanks for the info on adding bands, I have been able to add my all time favourite band UB40, so anyone else who loves them as well, please follow me and join as well!! Also the Pet Shop Boys, well I liked their stuff in the '80's and it will be interesting to see what they are doing now, Take That, With Robbie still in the picture and a real guilty pleasure Abba!!

One question, as I have joined these groups, can I

1. Listen to their music whilst on line?

2. Upload Cd's on my own of the various groups, i.e. I have both "Signing Off" and "Present Arms", UB40's 1st and 2nd albums on cd, can I add these does any wonderful person know?

I stayed logged in since I moved to LC. Today I was visible on the online list. Someone said to log out and in and it would fix that so I tried. Guess what? I can't sign in now. It's asking me to create an account again. I've already filled in all my details, avatar, even been posting so why this again?

I checked my verification email...no change.
I got my password resent...no change.
I tried signing in on livecloud.com not the bit here...no change.
