14,210 views and just 834 replies.. lots of offended people with popcorn huh.

I for one am sorry that this is happening. Believe that if you want, or not. But it started as soon as C4's demise was announced. No correction, it carried on as soon as C4's demise was announced.

Because, dear fellow FMs, this has being happening to a select few on that particular posters hitlist for at least a year. And for that year, people have bitten their lip, taken the blows and ignored.

And so now we have a lovely new forum. And yet still it continues. Only now the silence from the other side (myself and other FMs who have had to put up with the snide asides and the downright lies) has ended. After all how long can people take lists, FB whisperings, machinations and downright nonsense.

I've ignored for the longest time. I'm tired of it now.

All I can suggest is that, if you have a problem with me or my posts, if you have a problem with me answering the detractor.. and IF I continue on this forum (because right now I feel the same way as I did on C4 and wonder what is the point)... then put me on ignore.

That is all I have to say.

Peace out.

I got lobbed with stuff about a surname and causing insult too. There must be a lot of teenagers on here.

It's what is commonly known as "forum paranoia". Lots of that on here. Nod

Thanks Tigi thats a relief to hear. I wasnt happy by it last night and found it so unfriendly and territorial.

The number of views could be a handful of folk continually refreshing the page. I think like's already been said in here, everyone loves viewing these kinda threads but the last couple of days has been ridiculous, it's boring now.

Speaking for myself, I really don't care that 6 years ago X said Y had a bad hair day and now Y hates X and all of X's mates hate Y and all of Y's mates hate X. I take FMs depending on how they speak to me and how they speak to others.

I think PMs should remain PRIVATE - no matter what and I do think anyone who relates a conversation they had with someone else PRIVATELY is someone that I would never want to confide with.

This is a public forum, I tend to read a lot more than I respond and to be quite honest, I make my mind up about pep[le more about what I don't read than what I do. Why respomd to the bait?

ooooh... see I'm not like that... I hate it when I have an opinion yet I cannot put my finger on why I have that opinion (current one is that I am finding it difficult to like Lewis Hamilton... yet I don't know why),

I question too much.. so if I have a strong opinion, I can guarantee I will know my reasoning... if not it bugs me.

Big Grin

btw if anyone could shed any light on why I am not feeling the love for lewis, I would so appreciate it.

I agree on the whole, but I think that tupps is right when she says that eventually (after months of goading) something had to be said. Ignoring it didn't seem to work; the forum is here for all of us and we should be able to enjoy it. I'm not at all surprised that this business followed us over here and if nothing is said, it will carry on ad nauseum and eventually the decent FMs will leave and the trouble makers will have their way, which I, for one, find very unfair.

I do not like him cos he mings quite a bit. I'm shallow though.

PMSL - He isn't a likeable bloke really is he? DPGT - perhaps it is his moving away as soon as he had two pennies to rub together to avoid paying income tax - that seems to be a reason some people cite for not liking him

Ignoring works fine if you actually use the "Ignore" option. That way you can't read their posts.

That was ok before we all went over to FB, now we know what is said and that's why it spills over. Sad, I think. Anyway, tupps or any of the others 'listed' can't be accused of raking this up, it always comes from the person or persons who delight in forum disharmony.

Personally, I wouldn't list anyone - I don't see how it gets us any further. But I still think that fighting back prolongs it just as much and makes it far more noticeable. Ah well!

Yay! Yes I wasn't impressed with the moving away... but if I am honest that isn't why I don't like him. One day, someone will say something and it will click.. and i'll think "yes! thats it, thats what I don't like"
