Actually - the prize is an Amazon voucher - I'm having a bit of a think and browse before treating myself.

I think it was a lovely fun idea (all the better for winning) - I think it's been a lot of fun for a lot of us

awww that's nice, didn't realise it was a real prize

I'll maybe do another one after Christmas to offload the crap I got and don't want to make January a bit more exciting.  Although it might be more of a bran tub, than a tombola.

Careful.......it might end being yours

Is it safe to assume that it wouldn't mail well?

NO!  It would mail really really well

Edit to add.... it would mail so well, I would gladly pay for a private courier to deliver it

TBH - I can't see the attraction - I can take em or leave them!

Oooo....I LOVE mushy peas. You know, you can't get them here. I can order them from Amazon (and I do), and sometimes I stumble over them in a specialty shop, but it's not easy. I actually grew my own a few years ago: James sent me some proper seeds, and I grew a whole batch out in the only sunny patch we have in our yard. The yield? One small zip-lock baggy of dried peas, which I have yet to turn into actual mushy peas...I think it's about one serving!

Whenever we have fish and chips, I pull out a can of mushy peas (Bachelor's, I think?). It's the best I can do, but it makes me happy.
