Aww! Poor ickle Sebby Webby!
Well! That was eventful! I'm exhausted!
Great race in the end... great overtaking all around the track.
Excellent British GP.
You just don't get that with Monaco.
Wish they had stuck new boots on Kimi though as I am less happy Alonso got into the top 3.
Does SV ever have bad luck?
I think today answers that with a resounding YES!!!!

Me too Xochi, but it's really exciting when there's a bit of drama to it.
Fortunately all those tyres exploding DIDN'T lead to anything too disasterous.
Just watching BBC F1 on the Red Button. Suzy Perry wants to get through a clutch of photographers to interview Nico, but finding it difficult she says "there are some smelly armpits here".
Anyone think Pirelli's are just rubbish?
Just me then?

Ross Brawn made an interesting comment regarding the Pirelli tyres. I can't remember exactly what he said but it sounded like the F1 teams have not given Pirelli the time they need - whatever that may means!
May have to watch the re-run to get his exact words.
By what I can gather EC, it's because of the testing thing. Not allowed to test now and it's having a bad effect.
It's coming back in next year by what I see though
Did you see the Gary Anderson report?
Did you see the Gary Anderson report?
Yes I did Sprout. Watched it on the BBC Red Button HD (nice new addition to the BBC coverage).
I'm in pole for Saturday.

Another day of avoiding newspapers, TV and Radio and the odd meanie who wants to spoil my day.
SCREAM, YELL, TANTRUM!!!
I am sitting here (note, not I am sat here ) listening to the tennis and they have just told me who is on pole for the German GP.

I have been very circumspect and just shouted a bit and called the BBC a few unsavoury names.

You should tweet a complaint (I bet you are not the only one who has been caught out).

I'm not on twitter, but I have sent them a complaint via their on-line complaints system.

Glad you have, they are buggers for doing it. If you remember back to the creation of this thread I cited the same reason.
I please with the result of qualifying though. Looking like it could be another fun race.
Have just heard that the camera man that was hit by the tyre that came off Webber's car in the pit lane has a broken shoulder and some broken ribs and that Red Bull have been fined. However, apart from the broken bones, the camera man's OK.
Got a reply about my complaint.
'Thank you very much for getting in touch with us about BBC Oneâs Wimbledon 2013 coverage, specifically a Formula One trail which was broadcast during our programme on the afternoon of 6 July.
We were naturally very sorry to learn of viewer unhappiness over the content of the trail, so we immediately reviewed the programme segment and raised the concerns with the senior management team responsible within BBC Sport.
The reference to Lewis Hamilton having secured pole position in the Formula One German Grand Prix Qualifying earlier that day was an unfortunate error made by the Wimbledon production team.
The intention was to promote BBC Oneâs coverage of the German Grand Prix Final the following day, but in doing so the team failed to realise that at that point BBC Oneâs highlights of the Qualifying had yet to be broadcast.
We apologise for this error and that it affected your enjoyment of our Qualifying highlights programme. As a result of your complaint, BBC Sport have reminded their teams of the importance of checking transmission schedules before such promotions.
Thank you again for getting in touch and allowing us to investigate, respond and apologise for any annoyance caused by the trail.'
Kind Regards

It's good that they responded EFFT, but I think in this day and age with the technology at hand and the systems and processes in place it's almost a school boy error on their part.
The BBC are an experienced and long producer of sports programmes, why did they not just run a generic F1 advert without any current information. This trailer could be pre prepared and checked before transmission instead of relying on a team already working on a current sporting event!!
I'm probably more annoyed than I should be as it happened to me too on another occasion. How are you with the response?
Take it with a pinch of salt really. It comes across as a made up excuse. If they've got someone in their organisation making boobs like this, then they ought to be seriously considering that person's future in their present roll.
As you say, it's a very basic error. Are they really expecting me to believe that 'The Wibledon Team' independently compile the trailers, shown during Wimbledon coverage, for future programmes?
Thank goodness, F1 back on the telly b ox this weekend.
Feels like it's been too long.
BBC One 17:15 today.
Qwallyfying Highlights
Brum, Brum...
I'm liking the grid for Sunday.
Pst. Don't tell anyone, but I fell asleep between Q2 and Q3. Woke up in time to see them piling into Park FermÃĐ.

What ya like.
At least you got catch-up.
For me they are nearly off, just on the parade lap.
*EC settles down for the start, he love the start*
What a good result. Well done Hamilton, it's been coming and you fin ally got it.
Also pleased for Raikkonen.
Enjoyed that and liked a lot of the overtaking. Always high on my race list is this one.

Yes, the start is always to be watched. With or without incidents, it is always exciting to see how well (or not) they start.
