a great big yeeeehaaaaaaaa from Texas

what a race, what a result!!!

the luck was certainly with Lewis today and I would have loved to see if he could have caught and overtaken Rosberg without that safety car coming out and without Rosberg's mistake

but hey-ho, he has had his own fair share of bad luck over previous seasons so that's the way it goes i guess

Lewis certainly deserved to win the championship, he was the most consistent throughout and well done him

Let's hope for some good wheel-to-wheel scraps in the last 3(?) races

Lewis threw the cap first. Could have been umpteen reasons behind it. But no, lets try and dress it up as sour grapes!

Yes, not very good by the BBC when we can see the footage for ourselves.

I must say that Nico has had a miserable visage throughout this season. He seemed less than gracious in defeat when on the podium. Nico needs to fake it out (watch the Oscars). If Lewis starts next season well I can see Nico imploding.

I was talking to a colleague abiut the race today and he said that Nico is a complete @rse, he did say also that he thought that Lewis could be a bit of a Richard-head on occasion, but Nico is a massive one.

Got to agree with your colleague on the whole. Lewis can showboat too much very often but Nico never seems as pleased even if he wins!  He has made too much of Lewis envy and forgotten to fake gladness on behalf of the team.

do you think this is a team thing to make sure the ar$e finishes second?

But I am keeping an eye on the stats and Lewis is starting to creep up a lot of them.

Strangely I have been looking at things like most km's led, most career points, stuff like that.

I tell you what Sprout, given how bad things have been this year, I don't foresee them being much better next year. It seems they have massive amounts of work to do. I could understand if it was just a reliability issue, but they also have on track performance problems too.

I fear we may have to reconvene in 2017 to cheer along a McLaren.
