Looks like Japan is proving tricky for Lewis ATM. Seems to have carried a hangover from last week.

Going to be up at 5:30 in the morning to watch this one!

Are you daft!

Ordinarily I would completely agree with you, but as I normally get up for work at 5:30 it's pretty standard for me.

I will however have a nap after.

Actually to be fair...I'm on and off awake through the night with Radio 5 on. If I'm awake. I might tune in, otherwise it will be the highlights for me later on

I just like to see Lee McKenzie and her interviews.

Yes, she's good

I did not rise until around 10. I was quite tired. Watched it on iPlayer.

Shame that there was the Kvyatt incident, I would have liked to have seen  if Lewis could have corrected his mistakes and taken lead.

He muat be quite confident that he can do it in the race.

Back to status quo, nice to see the Williams mixing it with the Ferrari's.

Will be setting my alarm for tomorrow.

pah...lightweight, call yourself a fan   I had to be up and out early, was really pee'd off when Kyvat crashed out...it's a dodgy track to overtake on to be fair...Hammy might have to settle for second place providing things go well

Lewis did beat Rosberg last year after starting from second place. In fact it is kind of encouraging that Rosberg was on pole last year and Lewis beat him by about 9 seconds.

Lewis has nothing to lose tomorrow even finishing behind Rosberg the races are running out and he has a healthy lead over him.

I have a feeling that if Lewis wins the next race Rosberg will mentally throw in the towel.

I think he has EC, mentally he's far stronger than Rosberg and proved that last year  Pleased he equalled Senna's win record today...next week Russa and hopefully overtake it

I am too. Shame for me that Sky has some of the races

I've been looking at the stats as you can see below.

Total Wins

 Percentage Podium Finishes

 Total Fastest Laps

Now with added information - which makes more sense!

I thought he equalled Senna's wins today?

Yes, but the stats above had not been updated on the website, so don't include today's race (I put a likkle note on it when I posted).

ah, I had seen it when you posted it, I thought it had been updated when you posted it the second time and he was still one race behind. Stop confusing me on a Sunday morning

He comes across as a sore loser and pretty miserable to boot, I was watching it EC

Yes, despite how he must be feeling, showing a united front is part of being a team player. Who knows, next season Lewis may have a series of car issues and DNF's handing Nico a golden opportunity to win a title. Although I guess some of it depends on how the other teams develop too.
