Oh I avoid everything, especially BBC Three who seem to think blurting out the result a couple of hours before it's screened on BBC One is a good idea.

EC. I think I'm the only real die-hard. I post an account of all the qualifying and races on the sports forum (I used to do it live). I've lost my notes though, so it's a bit behind.

I came into this thread peeking between my fingers in case there were spoilers I watch the BBC rerun too, maybe you could put 'no spoilers' in the thread title then we can all discuss the qualifying/race in here

I can't recall seeing any F1 threads on GGJJ while I've been a user, so just throwing it out there and it would now seem there are at least  three of us.

The only bit's I really don't want to know are the results of the qualifying and the actual race results.

Its on the sporte forum and is called F1 and it go,go,go. I've been doing it since Ch4 days and will bring it up to date as soon as I can after I find my notes again. Still got stuff to post for 2011 and 2012 to finish as well.  

I've also been watching F1 for as long as I can remember - possibly pre-school.

I take it we're all up at 5 am to see the re-schduled qualifying on the BBC. I am!

Hope we all managed to avoid the news just before the qualifying.Even if you had the sound down they had the result showing in the ticker rolling across the bottom of the screen.

Monaco is a beautiful looking place, but for me it's not a race and one of my least favourites. To be a race you have to be able to over take, not just put your car on pole.

I just wish there was a way to pay the BBC for each race, I would do that.

I for one watched, but I tend to watch exclusively and not go on my computer. As far as I am concerned once the BBC has shown it I am happy for people to talk about it, you can't keep schtum for ever 

But I have to say I am very pleased with the result and would love to see him win the championship (although I doubt he will).

you could always change the title to contains spoilers  and have a new fred next race 

knowing our TV was going to be glued to the snooker till after the final tonight I went searching for the result and was pleasantly surprised it wasnt showing on news sites I did actually have to go to BBC sports to find out

Same here really EC. Once it's been shown on BBC it's open for general discussion IMO. If I had recorded it for later, then it's up to ME to avoid finding out about it. I wouldn't expect others not to talk about it just because I hadn't seen it.

At the moment I'm more interested in what's happening further down the ranks and with the new drivers. As things develop though, I'm sure the upper ranks will grab my attention more.

I tend to focus on the top four teams to benchmark them in terms of pace and see who has turned up fresh and hungry for the fight. Lower down the order in general becomes more noticeable when you see which drivers are performing and which drivers have made improvements over last year.

I do keep an eye on all the Brits as I want them to be successful.
