Here's a little treat for you. Someone just put it up on DS. A real reminder of the good old days - shows how far standards and the new production style has gone completely down the pan.
Enjoy

OMG watched a few minutes of it but given as i'm on company time i might have to watch the entire 36 mins later!
BB7 will always remain as the last GREAT series.
Cant watch it all now, but that was such a great twist, and when they showed Lea,I didnt recognise her at first..how I loathed that woman.
I have never supported a HM as much as Ashleyne before or since.

I think I was the same ......................it was a classic year!
it was a classic year, but it was also the year that ch4 decided they knew best and messed with it and initiated the final decline into what its turned into now
watching that reminded me how much of a prat Pete was and how he did not deserve to win
I don't know about standards and production style, it's just rose tinted spectacles. The truth (IMO at least) is many of us have probably become jaded with a format that has exhausted all the permutations. I used to see the Apprentice and then BB as the best reality shows (in that order) and not really interested in the rest, but this year I couldn't be arsed to watch the Apprentice final. Reality TV has passed its golden age IMO. I dip in from time to time with BB, but just know the routine too well to really be carried along.

amen to that!
Great reminder vid of that year I didn't immediately take to Ash when she first went in the house but I learnt over time that more than anyone else in the house she totally changed and learnt so much about herself/ life/people. She became my favourite in the end. She eventually became my favourite to win, she didn't but came second if I remember rightly

Ash was the best HM yellow rose! I think she came 3rd or fourth. That Welsh nationalist dolt who could be Welsh AND boil eggs, came second. I'm not sure if the cowardly Richard Fairbrass wannabe came third but Ash definitely was third or fourth!

She was absolutely brill! My memory must be bad as I thought she came second lol. I couldn't stand the Welshman...can't even remember his name he's so forgettable lol, surely he didn't come higher than Ash
She was top female And there were some big female characters in there that year.

I think we should remember the sterling work done by the Aisleyne Out Crew on the old CH4 forum and the significant role they played to ensure that she did not finish any higher!
Channel 4's boss said that was his big regret, putting Nikki back in the house.....lost the trust of the viewers forever.

Yes indeed - that was beyond bad. So wrong
his biggest regret must have been choosing so many wrong hm's, changing rules and getting rid of the chickens

Davina tried to explain Aisleyne's popularity as being merely a protest vote against old Hms being able to return to the house
