Be aware that the "will they won't they" relationship between her and Preston was pre-arranged by herself, Preston and Big Brother.

We knew that Preston was aware that Chantelle would be in the house as he has admitted this himself but he said that Chantelle had no idea. However thanks to a conversation between Victor and Vanessa last night on LF, we now know that Preston was lying, and that Chantelle was fully aware that Preston would be in there.

Furthermore Chantelle's claims that this is the first time she's spoken to to Preston in 2 years is crap, because Vanessa said they had been in constant contact with each other for weeks running up to UBB launch night.

To me it seems like this "will they won't they" storyline is a bit fake, quite frankly. And now when I see Chantelle crying most days because of her lost love, it angers me because so many people are being taken in by this obviously pre-arranged storyline.

Hmmmmm don't know what to think about that tbh.

Even if it is true that they knew each other were going to be in the house, it doesn't mean that Chantelle's tears are not genuine. Maybe she thought she could handle it, but being in the house with him has brought back all those past memories.

I think her tears are genuine.

But think back to the look of shock on Chantelle's face on launch night when Preston walked down those stairs. I thought that looked pretty genuine at the time. However we now know there was nothing shocking or suprising about it at all.

What about the look of shock on her face on launch night? I agree they blatently knew they're bothing going in, but I think BB asked them to pretend not to know, hence the "omg it's Preston" comments on launch night. It kinda makes the whole thing seem less convincing, to me.

Yes, her face did show genuine shock, but I agree with Deman's last post in that I don't think she was prepared for how she was going to feel.

Or maybe she was, but she thought she'd be able to win him back. Now it's obvious that won't happen and the show's nearly over, she's looking increasingly miserable. She should never have gone in there, IMO.

I find it very difficult to believe that Chantelle wouldn't have even considered Preston might go in.

Likewise, if Rex went in maybe his wag girlfriend would be in too or Rachel Rice. If Nikki, then maybe Pete or Aisleyne. If Grace then Mikey, if Mario then Lisa. If Bex then Luke. If Chanelle then Ziggy or Charley. It doesn't take a genius to work out what the pairings might be.

Vanessa also told Viv and Nick that Chantelle is no daft wee lassie,she is a smart female who knows what she is doing.
She clearly pretended to be shocked at the arrival of Preston , and she was very convincing.So I would not be shocked if the tears are all an act .
BBLBC didnt feel the same last night coming from the lounge ,I prefer it coming from the nest .

No, I don't think it is Marg. Chantelle looks genuinely upset and I don't think you can fake those tears. I guess we shall have to wait and see though.

I think it was all conjecture, tbh.

I'm sure Chantelle may have thought that there was a good chance of Preston being in there too, but I certainly don't think she is capable of faking her emotions to that extent.

She may have thought that she could cope with it, if it happened, but I have no doubt that she is finding it heartbreaking, now that she is in there with him.

I think it was obvious from the start that they knew each other would be in there, seeing as how i had a good idea they would be there from what i had read in the papers so surely they would too, i don't think she looked too shocked
I think her tears are real, like toid has said, she probably thought she could cope but has realised she still has strong feelings for him

Chantelle said to Josie on launch night that she'd brought pictures in (of their dogs I think) to show Preston - I don't think she's ever tried to hide that she had a good idea he would be in there. I don't believe it's a pre-arranged showmance though, she probably thought she could deal with it (or maybe secretly hoped he'd fall back in love, who knows?) I believe her tears are genuine - I like them both (although don't want them to win) and I'd love to hear that they'd got back together afterwards. She's a bit more mature than she was then met - who knows.

I've always suspected this Spider. I read that they are in fact already together and have been for two weeks previous to the start of UBB. Far too much footage has been spent on Chantelle and her tears, so much so that I resent those two being in the house because I feel that they have taken two spaces that could of been given to two far more worthier Hm's.
