Good news for Spurs fans about Gareth Bale signing a new four and a half year deal to stay at WHL..

LOL what the hell was he thinking of?
I bet the last time Phil Thompson watched them was when Liverpool smashed them at Anfield a few seasons ago
If Wayne can play like that week in week out, I would actually be tempted to give me another shot next season. Will see if it was just a "one off" though.
Ferdinand out and Lescott in
@stuholden watched it live, so bummed for you buddy. No place for a tackle like that in football...I hope he gets punished accordingly

Note to self: next time you make a comment about a Man United player, be prepared for scathing, venomous comments from their fans. #smh
Who knows? He might have still been in the running but I guess he'll never know now. He was a crap captain anyway.

He's a great captain but unfortunately a complete idiot too. He'll keep the captaincy till he does Capello's missus
And then when you consider the other candidates, you realise how stupid it is to dismiss someone for non-footballing matters, because they've all done worse...
afternoon all
That ref in the Scottish game is brave - awards a pen and then retracts it?? I'm only listening to the radio but they were all considering what's gone on up there with refs and these two teams in the last year or so.
Sunderland paid and then some for the luck they had with the beach ball goal last season. All the injuries, player sent off and the ref giving a pen that was a free kick. I'd be livid if I was a deckchair.
I wonder if Blue Mancs will park the bus against Chelsea this afternoon. I think they will, just like they did against us. Shocking way to play when you consider the excellent players they have who are capable of so much more

Tevez is out for City so they'll almost definitely be parking an enormous bus in front of their goal.

Just watched it back several times - the ref did the right thing
Slinki
I wouldn't mind too much losing if we actually attacked, but the fact that we had every man behind the ball and still couldn't keep them out makes me angry.
A Man City defeat can help Liverpool greatly, bearing in mind we still have to play both them and Spurs. Unless we shit the nest the battle for 4th is still in our grasp....
Also, not for the first time Chelsea flourish when Torres goes off. Luiz is a class player.
Totally deserved that result, can't wait to hear Mancini
Prob blame it on the laser from the crowd
But what do I know?
Didn't watch the game because knew exactly how Mancini would set his team up and thought it would be a total bore fest.
I'm now hopeful of a Top 3 finish for Chelsea.
