Considering some managers sit in the stands anyway. I've never really seen the point of a touchline ban. Why not introduce a ban from the Stadium,

It's another one of those rules RZB where technology has moved faster than the old farts at the FA. In the old days it probably was a handicap but nowadays they just communicate by mobile with the bench.
They really should make it a ban from the stadium for the duration of the game - and not allow the bench to have mobiles.
That'll teach em!!

Hiya mate, The benches are so far away from the pitch at O/T and most large stadiums these days, what difference does it really make, Fergie sitting in his usual place, could well be further away from the pitch than a manager serving a touchline ban else where, if you get what I mean  Remember the humilating site of a banned manager up in the gods many moons ago, gritting their teeth,

That was one of those games where you create one goalscoring opportunity after another and blow the bloody lot of them. Just well we didn't need a goal. We could have played all night and never scored.

Mincey I'd be worried if I was you. We were clearly under orders to conserve all our energy for Sunday. No goals allowed, all that celebrating takes it out of you. I really hope City don't park the bus on Sunday. I'll blame Mincey if they do.

Pretty easy for Real Madrid in the end. Benzema could and should have had a hatrick. Marcelo's goal was a quality move, assisted by Cristiano. Di Maria's was a classy finish.

Not sure how Bobby will approach the game... if he parks the bus like he did at Arsenal but gets a draw the fans will settle for it. If he still manages to lose the game with a defensive approach though then it won't go down well.

Will wait and see how it goes, I think we will go out and attack like we did at the rags... but still lose the game. A draw would be a good result I suppose, don't hand Chelsea the full 3 points and keep the table the same.

Totally agree Prom... he cost us the game, its hopeless trying to defend him. He didnt need to raise his foot, no idea what was going through his head. It was right in front of the ref and fully deserved red.

Mourinho knew what he was on about when he said Balotelli is trouble, a talent he is but also a liability.

Another one of Mancinis "mates" pisses it up for us... Vieira and Brum and Balotelli put us out the Europa League.

Thinking about it, it's probably better for you to have less games now anyway. Better chance of a CL place without having to worry about the Europa League.

Not sure, its still good to win any silverware.

I thought you were going to win the Europa till you slipped up in the first leg against Dynamo. Liverpool are currently struggling at home against an awful Braga side. They're about 22 minutes away from no 'Special European Night At Anfield' next season 

I think Liverpool will clinch a late one, I rather see them go on to win the Europa league then Dynamo fookin Kiev

I think I've just found out what upset Balotelli prompting his kung fu kick and subsequent dismissal
