I have a friend who has been a Liverpool fan since she was 5 and at last she managed to get to Anfield.
She had a brilliant day and yes even through the excitement of the game, still managed to get some photos.
With the price that the PL charge for tickets, it really is a once in a lifetime trip for many people - seeing their team play in their home stadium.

No different than a dedicated fan of a band or singer taking photos at a gig IMO.
I don't know where to begin tbh... if your not a football fan you won't understand.
But my mate is a huge football fan..... always has been. What is the problem with taking a photo?

No harm except the crowd should be singing not taking photos, or enraged about some divvy ref decision, or even watching the game. You're right it's a big experience for some people now the average person has been priced out of it completely but I long for when football crowds were just fans and not disinterested spectators taking photos.

Doesn't make them disinterested Prom -makes them keen and proud to prove that they have been there.
You have no real evidence that they don't shout and scream like loons as well do you?

Old Trafford.

Well that result certainly cheered me up after being ill on Friday, was wary of what would happen when the line ups were announced with the Da Silvas, O'Shea and Gibson in midfield which for the Da Silvas turned out to be the right choice. Arsenal had more possession and chances which were wasted where as United made sure theirs counted.

As for Scholesy he can't tackle, too hot headed, a minute of stupidness then brilliance with the ball to Chico but was lucky not to get sent off. Glad to see Valencia and Ramsey back..

Well done to Bolton for making it to the semis.

Lol
Utd were 1:0 up before Arsenal had even had an attempt on goal and most of their chances came after they were 2:0 down and Fergie had changed the team round

Valencia looked good too, shame he couldn't find a left foot while he was out

Good to see Ramsey back too

I'm looking at the stats as a whole, good tactics though.

I'm actually quite pleased with that draw.

Bad news for Liverpool fans is because of the potential Man City vs United draw they have to win the Europa League or finish higher than sixth in the league to be in Europe next season. Bolton or Stoke of course will have a place in the qualifiers due to one of them making the final..

If Spurs win the Champions League and finish 5th then whoever finishes 4th out of Chelsea or Manchester City would go into the Europa League.

if's and buts Darlo,
I make it  5th for Europa only, Birmingham have the other place,
Unless a place is won through the fair play placing, We were in front of that league at one stage, Until Defoe & Kabul went walkies over Christmas. We only get 3 Europa places don't we.

The cameras at footy these days I think is more to do with mobilse having cameras bulit in, with all I see wrong with footy these days, camera is about 19th on the list. considering a ticket for a match is now always the same as a package holiday, If a fan wants to snap away, then snap away.

Evening all
Really really fekked off with footy at the mo - well with the men anyway. Our Ladies won in the FA cup away at Everton which was the hardest draw they could possibly have got so good on them. Away at Sunderland in the next round.
Going to watch them in the CL on Thursday afternoon, be good to see the Ladies again, it's been ages because of the rearranging of the season because of this new Womens Super League.
Well done Disley for the win - hope you piss all over Stoke in the Semis

Evening RZB, yeah it aint all bad. To read some of the Gooner fora you would think we were fighting relegation.
Norwich have apparently conceded a 1-0 lead having had 75% possession or some such!! Welcome to my life

Yeah I saw that Crunchy. Didn't you have players sent off? Can't remember the details, they whip through the games so quickly on the league show.
Brentford won - gawd knows how, they were under the cosh for most of the game from what I could see. Sorry that Andy Scott got the sack, but Nicky Forsters done ok since he took over

I watched the 2 derby games between Cardiff & Swansea, not much between them, I would really like Forest to get back in the P/L, everytime they get into an automatic promotion position, they then go on a poor run, plus Leeds are still up there, I guess any club that wins their final few games in that league could end up getting promoted,

Crunchy, Carlise did well up the road from me last week, ended up thumping Charlton, was it 1-3 in the end, mind you, everyone beating Charlton at the mo,

You need to cause a traffic Jam on the Hanger Lane Gyratory System, Crunchy - that'll stop 'em turning up to Wembley

Re the 6-0. some games are just like that. You just have to endure them. My eldest absolutely hates Carlisle. he used to house share when he was at Uni with a Carlisle fan and as he really hated the bloke he's transferred his hatred onto the club!!
