When you look at the likes of Gibson, Brown, O'Shea, Fletcher, Carrick, Anderson, Rafael, Fabio, Valencia, Obertan. Just basic run of the mill footballers mixed in with the odd top player like Vidic, Rooney, Berbatov, Scholes & Nani. Really on talent Manchester United shouldn't even be in the top 4, yet they find themselves as probable double-winners and possibly treble winners if they are really lucky. You have to admire Ferguson.
Dave Was In A Cave
johan djourou is out for the rest of the season after dislocating his shoulder....

arsenal could of buried united......whilst they are fantastic to watch sometimes you feel they should just 'go for it' and forget the intricate passing around the box.......but i guess wenger won't change their style.

paul scholes.........lucky not to have been red carded........what the hell was he thinking?........he can't tackle to save his life....he's a liability

Utterly pathetic. Turn your back on your own team to celebrate? lol.
So English fans try something new and its "pathetic"....

I was watching Arsenal v United today.

About 70,000 sat there motionless... jesus f*cking christ.

'New' doesn't automatically = 'good' Mincey. It looks bloody stupid.

It doesn't when the whole stand has got it going... the whole away allocation was doing it at Leicester, Stoke and West Ham. The only disapointment was at Eastlands.

I'll tell you what does look stupid though, 40-75,000 tourists sat there taking pictures

Fortunately we have not had them yet, but you often see them on Old Trafford, The Emirates and Stamford Bridge.

Rubbish it's alive and well. We just don't laugh at things that, well, just aren't funny. At all.
Well give me the poznan over sitting down any day of the week.

And especially these...

I'll agree with that but that's just the way football is going. There's nothing anyone can do about it. The same people in that photo by the way will think they're really part of something 'big' doing the posnan while spending the rest of the game on the phone and taking photos.

I was working in a pub in Manchester during a match between Man city & Man utd back in the 80's - we were closed for refurbishment the next day

Don't know if it would work tbh, we need someone here for the long haul... not get us a trophy and bugger off after a year.
If he comes back to the PL he's either coming back to us (probably not a good idea) or going to the Red Mancs. Money means nothing to him he won't be going to City.

How does taking a photo of your favourite team make you any the less a fan?
I have a friend who has been a Liverpool fan since she was 5 and at last she managed to get to Anfield.
She had a brilliant day and yes even through the excitement of the game, still managed to get some photos.
With the price that the PL charge for tickets, it really is a once in a lifetime trip for many people - seeing their team play in their home stadium.

No different than a dedicated fan of a band or singer taking photos at a gig IMO.

Im not too sure tbh, I think the idea of having so much spending power is an attractice offer... he doesn't even have that at Madrid. The board says who they bring in and who goes out. At City he would have full control. Also looks good on a CV that he managed to win us some silverware after 35 years.

Baconface needs to help the club find a suitable replacement, their pretty much the same... need to continue winning. But also need a manager whos in for the long haul. I can't see Mourinho ever settling at one club.

I don't know where to begin tbh... if your not a football fan you won't understand.

Mourinho is the best manager on the planet and needs a new challenge. His only challenge now is to win the CL with an English club. He's not about rebuilding he's about making the best of what he's got for that reason City is a no-go area for him imo. He'll come back to us and fail to win the CL thus becoming a failure and ruining the legacy he left for Chelsea fans or he'll take over from Rednose and win the CL with them, equally stupid imo.

He really needs to stick with one club and I think he would have done that with us if Roman wasn't such a dick but now, he's a nomad. He's chasing his own future success and in some ways a parody of what he once was. If I was him and really wanted to prove something (mostly to himself) I'd stay at Real and take the title off Barcelona next season.
