You have to laugh at Arsenal, getting so comfortably beaten by such a shite team.
They'll never win anything

Nope.
When you look at the likes of Gibson, Brown, O'Shea, Fletcher, Carrick, Anderson, Rafael, Fabio, Valencia, Obertan. Just basic run of the mill footballers mixed in with the odd top player like Vidic, Rooney, Berbatov, Scholes & Nani. Really on talent Manchester United shouldn't even be in the top 4, yet they find themselves as probable double-winners and possibly treble winners if they are really lucky. You have to admire Ferguson.
Frustrating watching Arsenal... they stuffed them and failed to put the ball in the net. Chamakh had a golden chance and made it easy for Van Der Sar.
Arsenal always seem to want to walk the ball in the net!
Another one by Rosicky.... jesus.
Arsenal today...
To me they looked like a team who are naturally far far superior to their opponents today, but didn't believe it themselves and to be honest looked confidence shattered team after midweek.

Arsenal lose out on three trophies within two weeks that's got to be bloody gutting. Only the PL for them now. Either they'll go all out to win it or they'll crumble having cocked up everything else. I think they did something similar to this last season too.
johan djourou is out for the rest of the season after dislocating his shoulder....
arsenal could of buried united......whilst they are fantastic to watch sometimes you feel they should just 'go for it' and forget the intricate passing around the box.......but i guess wenger won't change their style.
paul scholes.........lucky not to have been red carded........what the hell was he thinking?........he can't tackle to save his life....he's a liability

Spongey they were trying to pass the ball into the net again against Man U of all teams. I have no sympathy, really, sometimes they just need to bloody shoot or attack the defence instead of trying to impress it with their passing skills.
agree prom..........they have fantastic players......but it seems they want every goal to be 'goal of the season'.....(the only way i could think of describing it!!)
You've got to feel for them though. To crash out so spectacularly out of everything in such a short space of time... We're not guaranteed silverware this season by any stretch either. CL or bust for us I reckon.

I'll tell you what does look stupid though, 40-75,000 tourists sat there taking pictures
Fortunately we have not had them yet, but you often see them on Old Trafford, The Emirates and Stamford Bridge.
It doesn't work for me at all Mincey. My idea of support is 'in your face' with the team and oppo fans. I know what you mean though, our away support makes more noise than our home support despite being hugely outnumbered by them.
Tourists don't do 'away'.

My son's team won their match today 8-0 + he scored, came home like the proverbial cat
I don't see the problem with it... its abit of fun, the club is behind it.

I'll agree with that but that's just the way football is going. There's nothing anyone can do about it. The same people in that photo by the way will think they're really part of something 'big' doing the posnan while spending the rest of the game on the phone and taking photos.

You men can get very silly passionate about your football huh
Mary D's pub just off new ashton road is one to avoid... they even kick off with their own fans in there.
Fans turning against Bobby now... alot of "We want Mourinho" posts on BM.
Don't know if it would work tbh, we need someone here for the long haul... not get us a trophy and bugger off after a year.

If he comes back to the PL he's either coming back to us (probably not a good idea) or going to the Red Mancs. Money means nothing to him he won't be going to City.Don't know if it would work tbh, we need someone here for the long haul... not get us a trophy and bugger off after a year.

How does taking a photo of your favourite team make you any the less a fan?
I have a friend who has been a Liverpool fan since she was 5 and at last she managed to get to Anfield.
She had a brilliant day and yes even through the excitement of the game, still managed to get some photos.
With the price that the PL charge for tickets, it really is a once in a lifetime trip for many people - seeing their team play in their home stadium.
No different than a dedicated fan of a band or singer taking photos at a gig IMO.

Grafton Arms just off Princess St was where I was - I think most pubs close now if the two are playing at home
Nee complaints about today's result though but.

Baconface needs to help the club find a suitable replacement, their pretty much the same... need to continue winning. But also need a manager whos in for the long haul. I can't see Mourinho ever settling at one club.

Mourinho is the best manager on the planet and needs a new challenge. His only challenge now is to win the CL with an English club. He's not about rebuilding he's about making the best of what he's got for that reason City is a no-go area for him imo. He'll come back to us and fail to win the CL thus becoming a failure and ruining the legacy he left for Chelsea fans or he'll take over from Rednose and win the CL with them, equally stupid imo.
He really needs to stick with one club and I think he would have done that with us if Roman wasn't such a dick but now, he's a nomad. He's chasing his own future success and in some ways a parody of what he once was. If I was him and really wanted to prove something (mostly to himself) I'd stay at Real and take the title off Barcelona next season.
