Thanks RR - I so want us to win summat to wipe the smiles off the smug faces of the pundits. I hope it is just a precaution with Cesc.

RZB xxx I dunno you know. I do feel really paranoid about feeling that the football authorities don't want us to win anything hence Mike Dean. Still it could have been that (extreme sweariness) Dowd or (even more extreme sweariness) Webb.
We should win but after hearing what the legbreakers of Stoke were allowed to get away with tonight I imagine that the legbreakers of Birmingham will be allowed to do the same.
Yep we won 1-0 tonight, seriously tense listening to it.
Right I'm off to watch Law and Order xxx

Liverpool were certainly up for it. Absymal finishing though. With Suarez out for the Europa they desperately need Andy (most expensive sick note in the world) to make an appearance if they're going to stand a chance of winning it. They were up for it the whole game though which was great. Marseille v Man U was the most boring game I've seen in about 5000 years.

Liverpool were missing half a team tonight; Gerrard, Carroll, Johnson, Kelly and Agger (latter 2 got injured during the game)

Also, what do you mean, Andy Carroll most expensive sick note in the world? Andy has scored as many from the stand as Torres has scored in 220 minutes of football.

You were missing Gerrard who often doesn't turn up anyway, and Carroll who doesn't exist (apparently). Johnson is good going forward and one of the worst defenders in the entire world (a bit like Wayne Bridge). Kelly and Agger going off made f*ck all difference to your horrendous finishing.

Torres hasn't scored but has caused all kinds of problems in the last two games he's played for us, twice setting up goals, something Andy can't do from the bench he appears to be superglued to and he's not known for that anyway. If it wasn't for Kuyt you were going into extra time in the Europa League against one of the worst teams I have seen playing European football but as it turned out you could all sing YNWA and cry and sob and stuff and take about your great history you know the days all those long years ago when you weren't completely cack and cheerfully ignore the 'facts'.

We'll probably both go out of our respective competitions but we'll go out to Barca or Man U. You'll go out to some small-time chumps nobody has ever heard of because that's what you are these days. A small-time club with a big gob.

Well all of us with a long history of success like to rub it in a bit with the less historic clubs - truth be told we probably do it as we haven't had a lot of success lately.
Phil Thompson Footie fans are so cruel. We used to give him the Sit Down Pinnochio song everytime he stood up. I remember hearing Jonathan Pearce commentating on Spurs v Liverpool a while back and all of a sudden the chant rang out. Pearey said " You can hear from that that Phil Thompson has just stood up, he gives a sigh and just looks resigned
We are horrible

Small time? Bullshit Prom. Just because we aren't at the heights we were a few years ago doesn't mean we are a small time club. As for Torres, he has been crap the last couple of games, Chelsea fans keep talking shit about how good he has been but realistically he hasn't offered much. He fluffed up a one on one with the keep the other night and he was giving away stupid balls. I know Torres is a brilliant player but he hasn't been brilliant for Chelsea so far.

Also, I love how you have just brushed aside the missing players, Johnson was our best player going forward last week, Gerrard scored a hat trick in a qualifier game, Kelly was our best player in the first half, Agger has been one of the best players for the last two months and Carroll is arguably one of the best young talents in England at the minute. Add in Suarez for the Premier League as well as Aurelio when he is fit. Also, the fact there were a lot of players playing tonight that haven't had a great deal of game time of late for one reason or another.

I'd like to see Chelsea if they were missing, Torres, Drogba, Lampard, Bosingwa, Cole and Ivanovic. Player for player maybe not as good but they are as important to our team as these players are to yours.

Also, we are unbeaten 8 games on the bounce with just one goal conceded (and even that was offside) So I am happy with how things are going at the minute.

Sorry Veg I'm tired of RR's sniping and Liverpool fans in general bleating on about history and tradition they're lucky if they can get in the Europa league ffs. Big club my arse. The only thing big connected to Liverpool is that idiot Phil Thompson's hooter.
Sniping? I haven't been sniping, I just commented on Liverpools match tonight and you weigh in a bullshit post about me banging on about History. I never mentioned History. Wind your neck in prom I don't give a stuff about Chelsea.

I am excited about Carroll as well

I thought he was brilliant for Newcastle as well. He's not totally proven in the Premiership but sometimes you just have to take a gamble. 11 goals in 19 games is a good sign! We are rebuilding at the minute and the new owners look like they are going to invest well. A new strike force at 22 and 24 years old is very exciting. I'm looking forward to seeing them together.

If we got a genuine hard man to give back as good as we get they would send him off every game

Most ridiculous card I've seen in ages was Malouda on Tue night...walking off too slowly. Did you ever hear the like of it!

You should have enough to get past them though, good luck with the next round

 I know...lol

Yea hope to have 2 or 3 of the injured players back for it. Rumours Carroll could be bench fit for West Ham and match fit for United. Would love that to be true!
