Andy Carroll's an old fashioned 'up and at them' striker. Not an ideal replacement for Torres I wouldn't have thought but pretty much exactly what the England team needs. Carroll and Defoe up front would be like an English version of Drogba and Torres. Skill and muscle is always a great combo up front and with Rooney playing just behind them they'll get all the service they need.

Suarez? Dunno. He needs to play a few full games before anyone can form an opinion on him I think.

Comfortable win for us. Anelka was brilliant, Torres played really well, got into some great positions just needs that one goal to get his belief back. That will come now he's playing for a proper team.

Copenhagen: I don't know if we just made them look bad or if they really are that bad they looked nothing like the team that people have been talking up. No way will they score 3 at Stamford Bridge.

Not sure Ancelotti knows where to play him or who to play him with yet. He's certainly not afraid to change formo to fit him in.

Seriously mate he looked very dangerous just that last 15 he's lot his confidence and he linked up really well with Anelka. Two flair players feeding each other might be the answer for us though we'll really miss Drogba's physical presence in some games. As long as Carlo's not looking to find a way to play all three together I'll be happy.

Evening all *waves*
I'm so childish, I felt like laughing everytime I heard the name Fanni.
I was actually listening to Arsenal v Stoke. I have never wanted to run onto the pitch and attack any team as much as Stoke - I hope they get relegated and keep on getting relegated until they find their natural level - a cage fighting league would suit them. How they didn't get booked for a lot of their 'tackles' is beyond me.
We've lost Fabregas and Walcott tonight. Add Mike Dean reffing into the equation and we don't have a hope in hell of winning the Carling Cup at the weekend.
