Funny that. When teams play like that against Arsenal we are told it's our fault, that we are too soft and we should man up.
Hypocrites
It wasn't just a case of Milan being rough and ready they were absolutely disgusting. Two-feeted lunges all over the place, elbows in face, Crouch got winded trying to jump for the ball, Spurs assistant manager assaulted on the sidelines, it was disgusting to watch, nothing at all to do with football just a load of filthy cheating scum trying to win the only way they knew how.

If that game was played in the PL it would have been called off. Milan wouldn't have enough players left on the pitch to continue.

Joe Jordan started a ruck last season with the Arsenal fans who sit behind the away bench at the Emirates. Really got wound up, shouting and swearing at the fans there and gesticulating violently. It could really have kicked off from what I saw/heard.
Dunno about tonight but Joe Jordan is no shy retiring violet.
I take your point though about the ban. I'd be rich if I had a quid for everytime I've seen a team/player/manager/fans of a non English team get away with murder and I've said that if that behaviour was by an English club Blatter and Platini would ban not only that English club but all the other English clubs and the national team for five years

You know that would only happen if it was an English team!

Damn right and they don't even try to hide it. All local rivalry and hostilities suspended for me when any English team plays in the CL. I am desperate for them to win just to piss off Twatter and Twatini.

What a shame the actual result  was totally overshadowed last night ,
what with Flamini,  the moron could of broken a fellow professionals leg and ended his career, then Gatusso, "w*nker smiley"  I've never seen scenes like it,  So much for it being the best Β£up in football....

Indeed!

You've just won away to the team currently top of Serie A!

It will certainly be interessting to see what sort of attitude Milan bring to the lane with them. Plus they could well be facing a Spurs starting line-up that will include Modric and Bale.

my gut instinct tells me the tie is far from over, If we can not get drawn into the

theatrics that will be played out at WHL, we will get through,

What suprised me, was how blantanty they went about things,   Milan in the second half I mean.

Morning RZB - great result for you last night.
Still haven't seen the Flamini tackle but everyone seems to be up in arms about it. Looks like Gattuso will get a ban for the antics with Joe Jordan too.
I wasn't having a pop at Spurs last night just at the way the media screams like an outraged virgin everytime there is violent tactics used - except when those tactics are used against Arsenal when the genius managers are just using their great knowledge to play against us effectively.
Milan played like that last night because they know they could. Just as any team that plays against any English club will be allowed to do exactly as they please because Blatter and Platini will have had a quiet word with the ref.
Makes me sick.

morning Veggie, I think it cost Milan the game, they were on top when they decided to set about their business, As expected after Tottenham first half ,Milan looked a lot better at the start of the second half, thing were leveling up,
Mind you, justice don't always come through in a footy result, but last night was one of these nights it did, I noticed as the game was progressing they were clocking up the yellow cards,
All eyes on SE18   N5 tonight,

it's what was said ,  not the lingo it was said in, Is there history between the 2, they are about 20 plus years apart in age. I know Jordan played in Milan, and Gattuso played in Glasgow,

Sadly like Henry pre Irelandgate, I rated Gattuso, odd how one incident changes opinions of players.

I'm dreading tonight tbh. I just hope we give a decent account of ourselves. We chased shadows for most of the tie last season. Still it's our own fault, if we hadn't dropped our performances in the group stages we would have qualified top and avoided Barca.
If we were never destined to win the CL this year then it would be as well to go out early and concentrate on the PL I suppose.
But with the final being at Wembley and all I'd love to get through especially as Farcelona are such a bunch of ............
We played AC Milan in the Emirates cup at the start of the season and they looked slow and aged then. Seedorf is still a quality player as are some of their others but you should have them at the lane - if you don't get a Blatter ref that is

I do find Barca a joy to watch, On of the best clubs sides I've seen since I've been watching football, up there with Liverpool of the late 70's early 80's.

I think Arsenal are slightly stronger than when they played them this April, I can see them getting something from tonight game, they need to at home, do you think any of the English C/L teams are possible winner this year.

Apparently a blue lost his family last week and a United forum have claimed its a hoax... a stupid claim to make if it turns out that the member was telling the truth and stupid to fake such a thing. Somehow its managed to get far more serious as both sets of fans have information on each other. It would take ages to explain, I knew something would happen when the thread was made on BM. You would have to look yourself to fully understand, its taking me a good while to gather it all in.
