Dunno Joe, it seems an odd fit though. I suspect that Drogba may be on his way out and they are looking to replace him. It'd be interesting to see if Torres regained his form in a better team than Liverpool.
Re Bale - I popped on Twitter for about five mins last night and, I may have got it wrong but, it looked like Spurs fans were doing some campaign to unfollow the Guardian journo who broke the story about Bale! Shoot the messenger or what!
The thing is that Bale has had half a decent season and that's all. Now he may be the best thing since sliced bread but it seems a silly amount to pay for someone with half a season of admittedly top class play under their belt
