I hope we win tonight. I haven't forgotten how Wigan mugged us in the last ten minutes at their place last season. I really like Roberto Martinez though - wouldn't mind him as a future Arsenal manager when Le Boss retires in about ten years time!

Listened to the ManYoo game on 5live last night. Had to laugh at the almighty commentators curse that happened. Guy was just going on about how ManYoo had cut out the habit they had this season of conceding late goals and dropping points when..............
Fergie has apparently been whining about Lee Mason. Never mind son,  you can't be reffed every game by Darren Fletcher ManYoo fan Howard Webb!

Again last night Berbatov & Anderson went into "nutcase/mental" mode... Berbatov had his hands in the air throwing all sorts of gestures and then Anderson started randomly kicking off... Kaboul got red carded for simply squaring up to someone but Anderson only got a yellow when he started pushing and nearly kick started a riot.

Had it been Balotelli he would of been shot.

I just realised that tonights game marks the 1 year anniversary of Megson's last game at the club, and thus, he'll finally, officially and completely be gone from the club in the next couple of days when his 'gardening leave' expires (other clubs beware!). Win, lose or draw tonight, it can't be denied that there's been a remarkable improvement in such a short space of time.

Didn't watch it Meaty only listened on the radio but I'm heartily sick of certain players and clubs leading a charmed life when it comes to that sort of thing. Cesc has been getting in on the 'bending the refs ear' act lately and it really annoys me. I don't expect any Arsenal player to behave like that - unless it's really necessary.

Disley - Bolton are a completely different team under Coyle, it must be a pleasure for you to support them now rather than a bit of a chore. I can remember how we played under Graham and, although we won stuff, the way we play now is one of the reasons I love AW so much

Btw, has anyone got any of their teams footballers on Twitter? I've got a few of the Arsenal players, mainly the younger set. They are a bunch of nutters at times
I'm following young Jack, always funny seeing him cheering on Bolton. I've got Kevin Davies (@kevindaviesbwfc), Stu Holden (@stuholden), and Ivan Klasnic (@iviklas) as well. Gretar Steinsson was on for a short while, but it looks like he's gone.

And you're right, it isn't a chore going to the games anymore...

Oi Meaty *shakes fist*

Well I felt we may have got away with that a bit. Couldn't believe how many changes AW made, and it was the players coming in who were screwing up by and large. Thank Gawd Jack Wilshere got on early enough to make a difference as we would have lost I reckon without him.

No one is really playing well (other than Spuds Grrrrrr) but it does make it more interesting.

I get the worry with Twitter that some have about players running their mouths but I do love reading the stuff they do. Jay Emmanuel Thomas is certifiably (sp) bonkers. A lot of the players use something called Yfrog where they post pictures which is a laugh too
FM
Disley, hard luck tonight. Don't know how you played as I was too busy screaming at Arsenal but thought you might have had Chelsea on current form.

You might get done by a Gerrard special but if so it won't be a patch on the Wigan dive tonight that got them the pen. Not only a blatant dive but outside the area too by all accounts.

I fekkin hate referees - useless bankers

There looked like alot of changes in Arsenals starting lineup... it looked a reserve side, pretty arrogant of Wenger to treat the game that way and Mancini did it with us before and we lost to West Brom... then he felt uncomfortable and decided to throw in the big guns when it was too late.

Why the hell would you make so many changes to the team that beat Chelsea 3-1?
MrMincePie
Yeah I know Meaty, all the talk on ATV online was about the changes. I can't believe it was arrogance by AW more like complacency. He knows how they did us up there last season.

I think he's trying to keep players fresh, we are in a period of 4 games in 9 days I think and Cesc and RVP have to be protected a bit as they are just coming back.
I wish to God he'd put Schezney in goal rather than Flappy and keep Djourou in until TV5 is back fit again
FM
Hard luck disley/bolton fan you played well in fact better than us in the first half. Second half we were much better, could have gone either way. I'm not going to fool myself into thinking there's any kind of return to form going on but it's a start.

Arsenal: wtf? Not that I'm complaining (sorry Veggie).

Liverpool:  I can't wait to hear Roy telling everyone yet again how he's one of the most respected managers in Europe. That man is dangerously deluded and just completely clueless. He'll be gone tomorrow I reckon.

First clean sheet for Chelsea in the last 9 games! Hopefully they can at least build some stability from this result - although with Ivanovic now suspended for a game it will be interesting to see who partners Terry, assuming that Alex is still unavailable. Surely they have to give Bruma a premiership start sooner or later?
We need the goals more than the clean sheets imo mate. A bit of self belief. We were transformed once we hit the net. It's got to be Bruma at CB against Villa. If PF is CB I don't think I can bear to watch!
