I'm watching Tottenham give us a football lesson again!
it might be be us but they are the best footballing team in the Division by far.

Are they seriously saying that ?!?!?
What has happened to Sunderland? 4 up at half time. I know Palace have been s*** but 0-4 !
Some crazy results today!

Difficult to see you getting a point now.
Lots of panic amongst our fans. I suspect if they leave the manager in place they'll stay up. I'm a bit selfish! At my age you wonder how many years of travel you have left so I'm quite happy in The Championship.

Too right. What about Brentford v Brighton today. Looked like Brentford were going to win it 2-0, then Brighton came back to equalise. Brentford (90+4) then went ahead in injury time to be followed by a last gasp (90+7) Brighton equaliser!!!!! 3-3
Must have been a cracker of a game.

I knew Brighton brought it all square late at 2-2 but until about an hour ago I assumed it had finished that way!

Too true!
Mahrez barely looks the same player while Morgan and Huth look done at that level.
Sevilla are not in the best form right now but I could see them giving Leicester a spanking.
"Premier League champions Leicester City can use their FA Cup win over Derby to kick-start their season, says midfielder Andy King".
I have heard this many times over the years and in this case I don't believe it. I suspect they will end up in a relegation battle to the end of the season.
I'm so pleased for Toots that they won 3-0. Two of the goal scorers were 'Boro cast offs!
Well! Last night we started off like world beaters, scored and promptly took our foot off the gas allowing Brum to see how many times they could hit the woodwork before scoring.
I think the final scoreline flattered us a little, although despite their possession I never felt under too much threat from Brum. The ref was poor IMO, giving far too many soft decision away.
Delighted that Rhodes scored on his home debut ( thanks Garage Joe ). So that is 1 assist and 1 goal in two games.
Both Rhodes and Winall look good additions to the squad.
3-0. Just under 25,000 fans, only 120 Brum fans on a cold but entertaining evening. Now I have a full Saturday to drink coffee in coffee shops, buy music and blu-rays and relax as the rest of the football leagues battle it out.
Koeman: "You can't compare one week with another".
Yes you can Ronald, last week you scored 6, this week 0.
Hows that.
BTW: Looked like a cracking game if the TV highlights were anything to go by GJ.
It was a very entertaining game thanks!
Tonight we were quite poor. In my opinion Blackburn deserved something out of the game.
Our passing ability has deserted us and when we do pass the ball we give it away, usually through a player trying something fancy instead of keeping it simple.
Carlos needs to get them on the training ground tomorrow and practice the basics.
Have to say though that Vincent Sasso's two goals were pretty good, especially the first and he plugged away at every set piece trying to get his hat-trick.
5.5 out of 10.
This is going to sound like BS but I was going to ask those who bet whether they will be having a bet on Lincoln, Millwall and Huddersfield.
You will note that I fancied Huddersfield to provide an upset - nearly...

^ this.
Full FA Cup quarter-final draw:
Chelsea v Manchester United
Middlesbrough v Huddersfield/Manchester City
Tottenham v Millwall
Sutton/Arsenal v Lincoln
That's not really the draw I wanted!
i was hoping for Lincoln at home.

Lincoln - Potential banana skin!
I was just about to say Sutton are finding their way into this game, looking more confident and Arsenal go and score!
My local team play 2 levels below Sutton Utd.
We're getting over a 3-0 defeat away to the Metropolitan Police!
(I suspect that Manchester City are the potential banana skin)
We always beat Huddersfield but.

Then we had the same type of comment prior to their Champions League game, but they lost.
Now they have lost their manager.
I think this was the likely outcome following that dreaded "vote of confidence" a fortnight ago.
I think that's it for our manager. I've enjoyed the day out but It wasn't a great game.
Leicester were a generous 7/2 to win and Vardy 16/5 to score at any time. Hope it stays like that!
If I were a betting man, tonight would have been a dead cert for a Leicester win, usual thing, manager goes, next game they win.
I guess we will see what Liverpuddle are made of tonight.
Now 3-0 !
I'm only making this post because I am sat in the back of a black transit at 6:40, with 4 other guys, one lady and a st bernard, all supping coffee.
...and that this post will be the 11,000 of this thread!
It must stink in there. If I may say so.

I'm saying this quietly - Gareth Barry to Hillsborough
We have Carnelian's team visiting us this weekend. They usually bring a strong crowd, should be noisy.
Sheffield Wednesday v Norwich City
Well, I did not expect that one bit. Gone the slow and ponderous start and in comes a team very much on the front foot. The best I have seen at home in a while now. The mistake by Ruddy giving Wallace his opener seemed to be the catalyst to kick on. Forestieri's free kick was a cracker (I called it as everyone thought Wallace was going to take it). I was a bit surprised by Norwich as I see them as a strong side in the league. Good support from Norwich bumping the attendance to just over 28,000.
Sensational game - well done Stoke City!
I feel the season is starting to fizzle out now.
Starting to look forward to the Sheffield Derbies next year.
Just watching the match between Chelsea and Manure. Chelsea 1-0 and I love the way they keep probing around the box, looking for an opportunity and every so often unleashing a shot. Just has to be a matter of time before they get another.
Now I don't doubt there will be plenty of fans disgruntled at the league position and form, but I have to say that if relegation happens Aitor looked well qualified to do a Newcastle and get a straight promotion. I don't see what the big issue is to spend a season in the Championship. Surely working towards being a Stoke, Southampton or Swansea is a good direction to be going in.
I'm sure we will get a view from the terraces when Garage Joe returns from his hols.
That was another lacklustre performance by the Owls last night. Reading were very negative and as soon as they got their goal there was only going to be one pattern of play.
I know we are missing four key players, players that have been very influential, but surely the players coming in should see it as their opportunity. But alas no.
Our defence is also looking shakey, Loovens' form is not good and Jack Hunt is less than popular. We sorely miss Hutchinson.
I think that we are now looking at next season and should be thinking of a complete overhaul of the defence and inject more steel and impetus into midfield.
Looking like a limp end to the season.
Sounds likes Arsene Wenger is likely to hand in his notice.
