Well we are creating some gilt edged opportunities on the counter.

Well that's no surprise, Spain have equalised literally 3 seconds after the final whistle should have gone. Talk about perfect timing for the equaliser.
Why are goalkeepers allowed so long to take goal kicks?
They move the ball here, then there, the wave players up, then back, then wide, then narrow....then kick it to the opposition 80 times out of a 100
Come on referees start booking them for time wasting
How did Spurs do that?
I'm not sure why under the circumstances one wouldn't want Tottingham to win!
After West Ham's attitude to our fans one hopes that they end up in the South Essex League division 6.

Talent, pure talent.
I'm watching our game on the tellybox. Having watched it live I felt as though a few decisions went against us! But we don't get replays at the ground!
I think this run of clean sheets may end against Spurs next weekend.

Hopefully not. Of all the sides in the top 5 I would prefer Chelsea or Man City to take the title. I am delighting in ManUre's inability to get their season going and as much as I like Klopp as an individual, I do not want Liverpool to pick up the title.

Yes, a Spurs win is infinitely preferable.

I find it a more complicated equation though.

I'm not saying I think Chelsea will lose - but I can see Spurs scoring.
Complete change of subject: Have you ever seen your managers full name?
I fancied a draw tonight!

Yes, it is a possibility they will and clean sheets are great, but would you be happy with a 3-1 win even if they scored?
Yes I have seen his full name, I think Football Focus did a piece on him last year and made a bit about his name which is incredibly loooong.

How good is this Lucas Joao - I've seen clips and he looks a handful - but I don't notice him showing up on your score-sheet with much regularity.
Much as though I'm not a big fan of the skunks this referee is cheating them out of the game.
Lansbury? What a tart!
Something of a long-shot now I would think.

Well, it's had it's moments this game. Still 0-0.
They've just changed another away fixture. Tottenham now 17:30 on a Saturday for the tellybox. What use is that? I told everyone what the Premiership would be like. It's carp.
Last night at the Wednesday v Barnsley game another sending off gives opportunity for another comedy moment.
Suffice to say, the player we all thought was going to get sent off (Hutchinson) which the scoreboard agreed with turned out to be wrong, it was a Barnsley player that was taking an early bath. Eventually the scoreboard operator moved the little red card from Hutch's name and stuck it against a Barnsley player name whom I cannot remember.
Very sad video clip of what may become the Premier League goal of the month.

Puts it all in to perspective doesn't it EL

That really isn't a great one for you. Although some of the TV dictated scheduling (Friday night/Saturday teatime) in the Championship doesn't look too brilliant for travelling supporters either.
Another good result for you CS. 9 points clear of Arsenal and Liverpuddle.

He looked good early on but of late he seems to have gone off the boil and not really featured much, however he has been in the starting lineup for the last few games. Today against Rotherham I though he was quite poor to be honest, although collectively we were not that great despite the win.
Another RED CARD today for one of our ex-players Richard Wood. That is five of them in three home games !!!

The gap will no doubt close with those clubs still to play this weekend - but certainly a nice lead to take into the festive season!

Trust me! The Championship is far superior for travelling supporters. Not only are less games messed up time wise but we also received lots of tickets. We haven't had more than 3000 anywhere in the Premiership. It's a fine balancing act. We have to predict when a game will be played, buy cheap railway tickets early and hope to get a match ticket in the 30 minutes they take to sell out.
On a more positive note I've saved a fortune.

Thereβs an array of attacking players in the championship, either bought from, or on loan from; Benfica, Sporting and Porto. They all look technically gifted but inconsistent, performance wise. Wolves paid Monaco Β£7m for Ivan Cavaleiro, Monaco had paid Benfica β¬15 just 12 months earlier β surely a clue in such a quick release.

Considering the last two home games Joao has played (Barnsley & Rotherham) I think he struggles somewhat with the style of Championship play, they don't give him a lot of time on the ball, pressing hard and although he can receive and do something with the ball there are too many occasions when the ball is lost or seems to get 'nicked' by opposing players as he does not have it under control. I guess we will see if he can adapt and perform better given more games and a bit more coaching by Carlos.
Well that was a bit of a shock. I clicked onto the BBC Football page to see how many Newcastle had put past us to be pleasantly surprised to see we came away with a 1-0 win.
As a slight aside Paul Carrack has just answered questions on Sheffield Wednesday on Mastermind. He got 10 right and I didn't.
We watched it and were cheering you on. It's very important that a few local teams get to the Premiership.
On the other hand if we go down .........
I'm gonna stick my neck out and predict Steve McLaren will take Derby up.
So if you stay up that's one journey not too far south for you!
On that subject i'm going to miss Bob Bradley and his references to "road games".
