It should be an interesting day out tomorrow. Charlton fans are attempting to have the televised match abandoned in protest against the owners. Our fans have their first opportunity to make their feelings known after the three days of rumour and bad feeling. I'll give you viewers a wave. At least if it gets called off I can return to KX and the Parcel Yard and drink mucky beer.

Good result for the Canaries but nothing to get too excited about.  I don't think Man City can have any complaints about the outcome.  If Norwich play like that for the rest of the season they should stay up.  The thing is, there's just so many matches where they just don't turn up.

What is the referees decision when...

One footballer makes a two-footed lunge at another footballer, both feet off the ground and connects? With the referee being only a couple of feet away?

Answer , not even a foul

Andre Marriner(so called referee), you are a disgrace

Good resistance from Norwich yesterday - i thought Bennett and Klose(?) looked solid at the back.

Just listening to Wenger being interviewed on the radio. It went like this...Your defence of the FA Cup is over, what do you think went wrong?

Well, they lost for a start, you der!

Yes indeed but Watford did give it their all and deserved to win, in my opinion

Is this the end for Wenger?

He's been running that club as a shareholder and not a manager for a few years now. I like him but maybe time is running out if they don't finish strongly

I think it's just a matter or when and not if Velvet

West Ham just scored a cracker

A most unusual day out - I didn't return till 23:00. Our manager walked on Friday and returned tonight. Meanwhile the team were a shambles at Charlton and the game was allowed to proceed only because it was on the tellybox.

On a brighter note I had a wonderful day out and as an extra bonus the train home wasn't dry!

Indeed! Most of our fans have written us off for this season. I have to say that I was praying for a miracle to stop us going up and we seem to have one. Though I wouldn't mind another trip to Wembley.

I'm watching a live soccer game on the telly...the commentator said "I think Dundee thought that they had this game in the bag"

Well, Mr Commentator.... Dundee United are playing Dundee

I was delighted with our second half performance against Charlton on Saturday. Carlos, seeing that the formation was not working changed it at half time resulting in three goals and what felt like a comfortable win in the end, despite the difficult first half.

BTW, well done Garage Joe on your late goal against Hull.

...and a quick shout out to Carnelian  who must be delighted with the three points.

I see what you were saying in the other thread now. I would have thought the Scotland match would have been on in Scotland though.

Well, hubby's watching it, but it doesn't seem to be on terrestrial TV.

We're getting a debate amongst the Scottish political parties.

Scottish parliament election in May.

I'm watching on the tellybox, having made the mistake of thinking I had gout, we've discovered I had injured my knee. Had to pass my ticket and hotel to someone else!

Hope you feel better soon.

A 3-1 win should be a good fillip.

Derby Day

Huddersfield Town 0  -  1 Sheffield Wednesday

MATCH FACTS

  • The Terriers are winless in their last four home matches against their Yorkshire neighbours (D2 L2). Make that 5
  • Sheffield Wednesday have kept a clean sheet in each of their last four games in Huddersfield. Make that 5
  • The last time both sides scored in this fixture in Huddersfield was in April 1959. That still stands
  • Having added his 13th league goal of the season last time out, Fernando Forestieri has now scored more in the current campaign than in his previous two combined. ...and he adds another!
  • Huddersfield have scored more times in the final 15 minutes than any other team this season (19). Not this time!
  • Sheffield Wednesday have netted the most goals in the second half this season (36). 83 minutes - would need to check that one

I am delighted with the result. Wow what a season we are having, even if we don't get promoted I will be delighted with it.
