Sheffield Wednesday 4 - Brentford 0

Despite what many fans were saying on the radiogram, I thought it was kinda flat as a game with odd moments of quality. Two of the goals by Hooper and Joao were quality. The sending off helped, but Brentford put up a fight. In the end it all felt rather comfortable.

Interesting stat, we are currently the leading scorers in the league - go figure!

Happy Owl tonight

The Owls currently feature muchly on our website. The smart money has us playing you at Wembley in the playoffs!

To be honest, I don't think we will be consistent enough to be in an automatic spot, I still think that it is between yourselves, Hull and Burnley and a slightly longer shot Brighton.

I'm also not overly keen on the playoffs, I'm a bit old fashioned and think the top three sides should get automatic promotion.

That would be some Wembley weekend! I've not been to the new Wembley as yet.

I see there has been another 'coin incident' at Chelski...the referee was seen to pick up at least three coins from where City players where celebrating their equaliser...

More morons to join the so called Baggies fan who hit Chris Brunt with a coin yesterday

Yes, saw that and after yesterday it seems to be a worrying trend.

Bit of a fan of Chris Brunt, was a talent at The Wednesday.

Just seems that every so often an idiot decides it's his time to make a d*ck of himself and do something stupid.

Yes, agreed there EC. It's seem when some people go to a footie game they leave their brains at home

4-1 now. Turning into a massacre at the Bridge

5-1

This could be a strong finish to the season for Chelsea. I have been saying for a while that I think Chelsea will finish top 5.

Anything is possible EC

Good performance today – albeit against Man City reserves! I don’t think 5th is achievable and would be happy (at this point) with a top half finish. I know they keep touting the fact that Hiddink is unbeaten in the PL since returning – but when you consider, as a for instance: they’ve drawn 4 of the last 6; progress isn’t quite as rapid as some may think.

Don't say that - I have a gentlemen's bet on with a colleague.

But given how inconsistent teams have been this season, many things are possible.

I'm off to Fulham tomorrow for the McCormack v Rhodes shootout. I have never seen us win at the cottage.

Meanwhile I have spent a fortune changing rail tickets for future games which have been changed to please the Murdoch scum. I believe most of our remaining games are on the tellybox.

i'm going to have to stay overnight in that London for the QPR game.
