Is anyone brave enough to make a prediction on Sunderland v Man Utd?
For me it would be more of a hope than a prediction.
2-1
2-1
If that is 2-1 to Sunderland, then I would be quite happy with that result as long as Garage Joe get's his Mata goal

I'm quite confident about this one... i can already hear the roar from the Fulwell Rd (or wherever Sunderland's singing area is nowadays!) - home win; nailed on!
And just as I check the score, Manure go 1-0 up and Mata scores.
Well done GJ!
My 2-1 (17/2) crashed!

My 2-1 (17/2) crashed!
Does that mean GJ still gets a payout for the Mata goal?

The bet was based on Mata scoring - regardless of the result.

Ah good, glad he's got a result
I've never placed a bet so not familiar with all the lingo
So I have made a few poonds today.
My other Sunday bet, where I pick seven teams in a complex system of permutations.........
Five have lost, one is losing and the last one plays at eight of the clock. That's Β£5.80 down the drain!
Celtic are usually your dead certs that you can rely on to do the job. FFS!
O/T Bow Creek 15.30 @ Goodwood y'day made me a tidy sum - singled and via triggers.

ICT won via a Celtic own goal i believe.
Algeria has suspended all football indefinitely following the death of the Cameroonian player Albert Ebosse on Saturday after he was hit by a stone thrown by "fans" as he was leaving the pitch following his side JS Kabylie's home defeat by USM Algier.

That's a shocking story.
Wow, completely forgot about the cup. We seem to be having a decent start to the season.
Burnley 0 - Sheffield Wednesday 1
I also see MK Dons have put 4 past Manure.
It's a nice route into Europe. We were discussing this at work and for the bigger clubs who take it seriously they can pretty much say they have a decent shot at it.
For clubs like Wednesday, it brings in a welcome few ££££.
Hopefully a reminder to people who keep banging on about the Premiershit. There aren't many away days out.
Away to the mighty Shrews in the next round of the pointless cup after seeing off Crawley.

Didn't enjoy last season in the Premiershit at all. The Champs is proving to be more fun but I guess it's only while the parachute funds last. Couldn't stand the negative football of last season under Hughton.
Right back at ya!
We have Nottingham Forest. Tough game I suspect
Hope we can keep the goal count down.
Your two strikers made us look average.

Despite a decent start, I'm trying not to get too optimistic and we are a little bit more tentative at home for some reason. But I should have more faith in Mr Gray as he will have done his homework and so far we have only conceded one goal in open play.
Forest have a couple of players that were at Hillsborough last season and they have both been hitting the back of the net (Fryatt & Antonio).
I would see a point against Forest as a big achievement, anything else against a side in form would make my evening Chinese and a few pints with a mate that bit more tasty.
I forgot it was an early kick-off today and as a consequence MISSED THE MATCH...!
*slaps forehead*
But at least I can say I have not seen us defeated on home soil
Loic Remy Chelsea bound?
Hmmβ¦ I guess heβs the combative type of player that Mourinho likes.

And I seem to be getting no sympathy from friends
... and breathe!
Do you know Sean Bean?
Me?
No.
He supports another much smaller club in Sheffield.
