I'm just listening to the phone in on radio Sheffield and the fans are saying some very encouraging things about the side and performance. Sounds like the manager has got them working very hard on or off the ball and the goal sounds like a good one.

Won't take us until November to get the first win this year

I wish it wasn't on the tellybox. We always get beat.

I usually think the same about being on the telly, but after last years superb result against the scum I feel a little less so now. Weeds are probably going to be there for the taking IMO GJ.

I want to see Middlesbrough 8 - Dirty Leeds 0

Good 3-0 home win today for the Canaries after last Sunday's weak effort.  Suppose I've got wait till the Football League Show to see the highlights, now we're back in the "Ipswich" division!  Neil Adams' first win in his senior management career.  Helped a lot by playing against 10 men for almost 90 mins!

Arsenal the only PL "home" winners today.

Just seen your game on the Football League Show. I can't believe how the goal was disallowed - barmy decision.

Billy Sharpe looked his usual petulant self. No surprises I don't like him.

I am pleased with our start to the season. A win away at Brighton and a good draw against Derby at Hillsborough yesterday.

We created chances and moved the ball well at times, hitting the crossbar on one occasion.

I said I would take a draw at the start of the game and can't grumble.

Another tough one midweek against Millwall.

hmmm... doubtful!

Fabregas will take the piss in this league. He often didn't stand out amongst all the technical master footballers in Spain but in the Premier League he'll be the superstar. He's definitely an improved player to the player that left Arsenal.

Diego Costa's rep caught up with him tonight. Should've had a pen.

He won't be until October, after tonight. Can only play in friendlies until his 4 month ban is over.

Great talent though, it's gonna be good seeing him alongside Messi, Iniesta, Neymar and co.

The scum on Saturday.  Their cup final!

The arms dealer's perennial Championship plodders v the Canaries at Poorman Road, 1p5wich!

ps. I hope my arrogance doesn't look embarrassing in two day's time.

Thanks GJ (I've not been on the forum for a couple of days). Was thinking twice about coming on to the footy thread!

To be fair, Stuart Gray has got this side much more consistent and organised that last season and so far it seems to be paying dividends, although finding the net has been a shade difficult despite the chances.

Our big weakness at the moment is seeing games out and giving away penalties! That's 3 in 2 games in 5 days !!! I honestly half expected to see the final score as 3-3.

Anyway I'll electronically shake your hand and wish you all the best for your remaining game.

P.S. What was our support like today?

I thought you would have more support, but as usual it looked like the biggest away crowd of the season.
Your manager really has the championship sussed and your team were a credit to him. They were knackered at the end but this Division is all about work rate and application. Whilst our Spanish contingent were complaining in a "how dare you tackle me hard!" fashion, your lads were away up the pitch and attacking.
Good luck with the rest of the season, you have a good bunch of honest players IMO.

Thanks GJ. The high levels of work on and off the ball have been one of the most obvious changes this season. I know it's only early in the season and a lot can happen but I would be happy with a top 12 finish this year.
