We have had him on loan from Aston Villa and have tried to sign him on.

       
       

Danny Graham (you lucky barstards!) and Lee Tomlin (if he can stop getting sent off) will be good signings. Especially Graham, he was the top striker in the championship just a few seasons ago.

But one of them is banned for three games and I doubt the other can play tomorrow. We are down to one striker and he is not particularly good.

Tomlin is always banned. The guy is a talented idiot.

I think it’s something like registration has to have been completed by noon of the previous day – so none of the last minute movers are eligible to play today.

Pulis made some interesting signing right at the end of the transfer window.

Another managerial casualty. Leeds have dispensed with the services of Mr McDermott. I still find it amazing how many managers go each season and for most clubs it makes little or no difference.

Maybe it was an Urban Myth but most people thought that players had to sign by 5pm last night to be eligible. So imagine our surprise when Danny Graham came on in the second half.

I thought Saturday was a superb day for my team snatching an extremely last minute winner. I was also pleased with all of the other results up and down the leagues.

Masterclass it was.

We are having a debate on how to go to Sheffield. We favour train, tram, Turkish, and tipples. Our pals favour car, straight in and out.

 

You seemed to enjoy yourselves last time GJ - try a different eatery this time. Train and tram are a good combo as you can get off the train and catch a tram at the top side of the station which takes you straight through to Hillsborough corner leaving a comfortable walk throughout the park (15-20 mins) or jumping on the 'Yellow" tram to take you to Leppings Lane end.

 

Given that both teams seem to have picked up over recent games it could be an interesting tussle as you may be knocking on the payoff's.

Last time, our friends were elsewhere, and we parked at the Tram Terminus near to Hillsboro. Parking and all day team for next to nowt!

Apparently our next big away day is Sheffield on March 1st!

 

As a true blue Wednesday fan I would have to agree, but I do think having both clubs doing well is good for the region and I miss the Derby's.

 

I watched the game and I thought Fulham amply demonstrated why they look like they are heading into the Championship at the end of this season. United did what they needed to do, and took their chance when it came and at the right point in the game, no chance for Fulham to hit back.

Well I may have been wrong in prediction. We are 2-0 (89 mins as I check) up against Reading and that would be 7-2 over the two league meetings.
