I avoided the thread since I wanted to watch MOTD. Very entertaining. I assume the Anelka biz was picked up on by the French Press ? There was nothing obvious until they mentioned it later. I normally notice stuff like that.

 

 

I have now seen it and to be honest I thought he was just tapping a West Brom badge on his arm in recognition of his goal. I also saw him a couple of times tugging what I thought was the captains arm band on that arm.

 

Strange that I have not heard of that before, the gesture that is.

 

 

I have seen the gesture on tv and wouldn't have known what it meant until it was explained, EC. If it was an offensive/racist gesture then he should be banned for the appropriate amount of time, whatever that is
