I'd not be surprised if the's a minutes silnece (or applause) at your game at blackpool today. There should be.
We had a couple of minutes silence. He was an ex manager and later used to summarise on the local radio. He settled down in a local village before his long illness.

Good effort from Blackpool.
Thank f*ck thats over... looked like we only started playing after 70 mins.

I've no idea why I said that. We had a couple of minutes of applause.
Fair play to Blackpool, they play good football. I'd much rather watch them than the likes of Stoke.
I really hope Blackpool stay up. They were unlucky today. Couple of decisions went against them but City took their chances when they came and DJ Campbell didn't. Performances like that will surely keep them up.

Well done Blackpool, deserved at least a draw. I hate Tevez with a passion I just can't explain.
Liverpool, sorry but

I really don't know what it is. He's a brilliant player but if he came to us I would need therapy because one look at his horrible mug makes me want to kill him on the spot.Reference:

Indeed... they have won more court cases than matches so far.Reference:

It's incredible considering the players they've got. Hodgson is just completely out of his depth.
A strange situation. Someone spent most of last week explaining why he should be the new England manager. Can't see it m'self mind.

I never rated him but can't believe he's that bad. He's seriously losing the plot in his post match interviews too. It's all a bit surreal.
So Hodgeson is usless again? That was quick. He has managed a good number of international teams very well, I am sure a 5th rate England team may pose more of a challenge than Switzerland though.
The problem with Liverpool hasnt been Hodgeson though he will no doubt be sacked by Christmas, he was stupid to go there though.
Hes never interviewed well, Prometheus I remember when the press disembowled him when he was at Blackburn post Jack Walker again when the club was broke.
It seems to me that a lot of management especially international management boils down to whether the players fear/respect the manager enough. Do most of the Liverpool players have that for a softly spoken southern manager with Rhotacism? Na I didnt think so either. A lot of the power of fear is removed at international level especially with England where failure is shouldered by the manager and players rarely if ever get dropped/kicked out of the team. I also dont think that the Liverpool players are as good as they think they are, after Alonso and Mascherano left.

On another note, I am sick and tired of that fat headed munter at Birmingham trying to justify his hatchetmans destruction of a players career. We dont keep going on about it so why should he.
No its not the same, and for your information Alex, Wilshere DOES seem that sort of player to me from what I have seen. He is a dirty little **** and often jumps in late(he reminds me of Dennis wise a lot and thats not a good thing) and needs to clear it out of his game or it will be a rollercoaster career.

Can't say I'm surprised Strachan has gone. Shouldn't have got rid of Southgate in the first place in my opinion.
Bringing the old firm stars to bring them success in the Championship was never going to work.

They weren't up to standard!
Said on the local news earlier that he's waved the right to compensation. Fair play to him for that, must have more money than sense but a good gesture none the less.
So Strachan has gone then, I wonder if this means that Tony Mowbray will be returning to football management at 'Boro?
The crowd have wanted him back for years. He's one of us! Etc. And he's Middlesbrough handsome just like David Wheater.
Hi Joe! Yes he is a hero at the Riverside isn't he? I would love to see him back in management as you know I have a lot of respect for what he did with us and was quite sad that he couldn't finish the job that he started. Although, had he not have left us when he did, we wouldn't have got Di Mat as our manager and well..... lets just say, I would love to know what he says in those half time team talks.
Just want to add my commiserations to Blackpool. I am loving the way they are playing at the moment and would love for them to stay up.

Yes I echo the sentiment re Blackpool, they play good football. Its a pleasure watching them at the moment. They were unlucky yesterday.
In other news Poyet is doing a hell of a job at Brighton at the moment.

Tony Mowbray is favourite with the bookies and supporters.
IMO We now enter nother false dawn scenario.
One thing about Gordon Strachan I will miss is his fabulous dry sense of humour, alas too intellectual for yer average lerkal scratter journalist, or indeed thicko fan. Unfortunately he seemed to be useless at motivating players and that's what counts.

Wowza That was an awkward press conference...
Ferguson has confirmed at the press conference a few minutes ago that Rooney wants to leave, but Ferguson wants to keep the door open for him to remain. He also said that Rooney was stretchered off this morning at training with an ankle injury.
Apparently the initial offer of the extended contract was made at the time of the world cup and it speculated that Rooney had already decided he wanted to leave at that stage and this may explain his poor performance.

Apparently Mowbray still has compensation issues with Glasgow Celtic.
F*ck knows where he will go... I certainly wouldnt want him here if he continues to play like that
You would think he would go to Real Madrid, but by the looks of it... its Coleens say more than his own. I think she has an ill sister over here that she's refusing to leave? Most realistic choice of club would be Chelsea.

I just can't see the fans accepting him... my old man hates the fooker. Can't say that one wasnt about the money, by the sound of the offer Fergie had mensioned in the press conference... it had quite a hefty wage. The only club who could match that is us. I recon he will go Chelsea.Reference:

I still can't believe it Meaty, what a knob! It ain't like he's in the form of his life. He told Fergie Aug 14th that he didn't want to sign a new contract. If it's all about the money, it's outrageous.
Once he puts a few goals away for ya, you'll accept him, just like Tevez. But I hope he goes abroad.

The twat couldn't even be loyal to her or his son, so what hope did United have.
Listening to talksport earlier, don't think united fans are too chuffed with Wayne...
I nearly wet myself when I was this earlier aswell from a liverpool fan... think he was being serious aswell.
"Welcome To Anfield Wazza"
Also, looks like alot of Rooney banners are coming down.

From what I remember of Talksport most so called Manchester United fans wouldn't be able to find the Stadium if you dropped 'em off on Sir Matt Busby Way. I bet I've been more times than they have.

I reckon Rooney will feck off to Spain - with any luck.
Not that my team is in the Premiership or is likely to be in the near future, however as well as attending football matches in the hope of some success one also goes to be entertained. I would rather Rooney stayed in this country so that we might watch his undoubted skill. If we keep losing players like him what do we have to look forward to? Stoke, Bolton, and Blackburn?
Hmm I dont hold much hope for Rooneys future. He is too thick to realise that he was being made out to be "injured" for his own good and protect him. Its something we have done a lot with players that are stalling on contract negotiations.
I am finding it hard to think of places he will go given his wages. He doesnt strike me as the kind of player that will benefit from moving abroad into a different culture and language. Also I would think United would be reluctant to sell him to Chelsea or City unless they desperately need the transfer money (if they needed it that badly why not sell this summer). I guess maybe Chelsea is the most likely though.

I can't believe Man City are considering paying Β£100m for him. Hopefully he'll go abroad and his ugly mug won't be in the papers nearly every day.

Source?? And if we're honest... Β£100mil to the Sheikh is like a fiver to him.
