That's good to hear GJ

Away tickets are generally difficult to get for Wednesday away games, they are either snapped up quick or the away team have a small allocation. Sometimes the trip can make a difference (Yoevil ). How many tickets are there for Wednesday fans at Middlesbrough?

But, yes I like to see strong away support. it makes for a better atmopshere (Millwall brought a pitiful amount last Saturday!).

The three guys who sit next to me are all going to the game Saturday. Considered opinion is that Middlesbrough have the points in the bag because we struggle to score and make too many silly defensive errors at the moment. Although the Leeds performance was not too bad. I'm hoping JJ will be back in the side as he gives us attacking pace and he can score. I doubt our new striker will play a part as Dave Jones wants to introduce him after he has acclimatised to the club and English football!!

Good to hear we are in good voice. Yes GJ we do have some big lads at the back and they weigh in with a fair amount of goals at set pieces as you say. Reda Johnson being one.

He's sposed to have released a statement today (apparently on the website) I don't know cos I haven't looked, but he's sposed to have said that the club have tried and tried to sign players in this window and they couldn't afford players that are available that would strengthen the side

It's Ashley trying to keep his hand in his pocket again I believe as he still wants to sell us

Ah, club politics. I miss the days when I could just watch 22 men kick a football around and that was it. Well Sprout, my club  signed no one, mainly because we have no cash and a chairman who is definitely keeping the purse strings tightly shut

Well, what can I say?

That was a dire performance by The Owls. Yeovil came out of the blocks with every intention of taking all three points. For me they were the much better side and it would have been an injustice if they had not got anything out of the game, even though they went down to 10 men late in the first half!

Ironically you would not have known they had 10 men! We had no urgency to our play or desire to get the winner, Yeovil however played like they had 12 outfield players.

The Owls fans booed of their own players at full time but clapped the Yeovil players.

A bad day for us both GJ

I would be surprised if you shed your manager, I think he will work out well given enough time (not sure how well he get's backed by the board). The social media idiots need to get to the games, our local phone in had the usual collection of "I've not been to the game, but...". I would cut them off. How can you form a rounded opinion of a team and players you never see.

Rant over.
