Ah, you mean our city rivals United. Yes, those trips are horrendous in terms of distance/time. Not so bad if you are planning a long weekend and can enjoy the areas.
How many away games do you do in a season?

Yep I was watching that Crunchy. What a disgrace. They should be ashamed of themselves
Possibly the most extreme incident in a football match ever in the world. Truly shocking
Welcome to Brazil.
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho says Wayne Rooney is his only summer transfer target after Manchester United reject a bid for him

Does anyone think this move will happen?
I doubt his appetite.
Could lose a few pounds.
Maybe they could put a patch over the offending name - or let him have his own shirt sponsor?
Sheffield Wednesday are playing hosts to Rangers tonight in a pre-season friendly. The Scots arrived early this morning and seem to be enjoying the weather, they are in good voice and certainly helping out the local brewing industry
Here's hoping the game is as good as the atmosphere.

Half-time Wednesday 1 Rangers 0
Full-time Wednesday 1 Rangers 0
I'll take that in a friendly.
I don't get my first home game until August 10th
Always an interesting debate about how the Scottish sides would fair in the Premier/Championship. Personally I think the Premiership may be just a b it too strong and competitive. The Championship would be much more manageable for the stronger sides. The travelling would be horrendous, Imagine travelling from say Plymouth to Aberdeen or Inverness if they were in the same league !!
Der tag!
At last! It has been a long time. I'm really looking forward to this afternoon.
Good luck to all of us who have teams playing today.

I will take mid table obscurity or as we call it consolidation.
First home game tomorrow. Burnley.
Not sure how I feel about this one.
Thanks GJ
And best of luck to you too for the season.

3 hours and 7 mins to go
Very possible. Let's see how the league looks after 7-10 games.
I'll take the 1-1 result against dirty Leeds. I was pleased to see Sky was showing it free via their PickTV channel on Freeview.
Were you somewhat pleased to grab a point so late on?
The stats look like you dominated the game.
City started well against Everton.

Just happened to have that game on the BBC MOTD repeat as I look at the thread.
Second goal by Norwich was a beauty, ball delivered off the side of the boot and followed by a well directed header.
Edit: We had Everton's Ross Barkley on loan, was sad to see him go. Too his goal well.
Great reception for Mourinho.
I was just about to say that Hull look well organised and have a good shape - then Chelsea got a penalty - but it was saved. Lampard usually Mr Reliable from the spot - but not on this occasion.
I fear a rout
