The Special One is now The Happy One:
Tears.
Keeps the footie ""journo's"" happy though with endless drivel.
The cesspit of rats that they are.
Mourinho arriving +15pts
Ferguson leaving -15pts
Game on!
Stuart Pearce... really hasn't changed much.
Martin Tyler raised a good point about the state of England international football at the moment. He didn't say the words, but it's quite evident that no one seems to care. In Spain, if a player even thinks about turning his back on them... he'll be crucified for it. Over here though, players and clubs are putting club first, which is understandable at times, but at the minute season is over.
Walker, Jones, Wilshere, Rodwell, Sterling, Oxlade-Chamberlain and Welbeck should all be playing in this tournament. The experience is vital. Some would argue they're in the first team, but there's no point in sticking players into the first team if they're not ready.
Far too many overseas players, coaches and club owners in our league, only 40% of all the players in the Premier League are English, thats the problem.
Far too many second rate overseas players are in our game, more have been signed today by the two Manchester clubs, rather than invest in young English talent...I predicted years ago that within 20 years there wont be an English national team anymore.
Spot on.
Not geared.
The national team (post β66) was usually crap long before the influx of foreign players. We didnβt even qualify for the World Cup finals of β74, β78 and β94.
After what seems like months of negotiation Chelsea have finally landed Andre Schurrle of Bayer Leverkusen:

Not happy!
I have been past a few times and it looks very nice. One of my colleagues is a season ticket holder at the New York stadium.
Redknapp'll be at the Toon by Christmas.
Any season ticket holders out there?
If so, has the price stayed the same, gone down or gone up?
It would seem you were both on the ball compared to me. I forgot about the cut off date and ended up paying a bit more this season Having said that I can't complain at the pricing over the last few years, it really has not changed for me.
Yes, I'm a Sheffield Wednesday supporter. Been a constant season ticket holder since the late 1980's.
BTW GJ I took a look at your photo's, nice to see the reverse angle
Given the dates, I think there will be a lot more to play for for both sides this time. I'll have to get that banner started, the one with the big arrow pointing down so you can spot me
31st August : Middlesbrough v Sheffield Wednesday
1st March : Sheffield Wednesday v Middlesbrough
