Stuart Pearce... really hasn't changed much.

Martin Tyler raised a good point about the state of England international football at the moment. He didn't say the words, but it's quite evident that no one seems to care. In Spain, if a player even thinks about turning his back on them... he'll be crucified for it. Over here though, players and clubs are putting club first, which is understandable at times, but at the minute season is over.

Walker, Jones, Wilshere, Rodwell, Sterling, Oxlade-Chamberlain and Welbeck should all be playing in this tournament. The experience is vital. Some would argue they're in the first team, but there's no point in sticking players into the first team if they're not ready.

Far too many overseas players, coaches and club owners in our league, only 40% of all the players in the Premier League are English, thats the problem.

Far too many second rate overseas players are in our game, more have been signed today by the two Manchester clubs, rather than invest in young English talent...I predicted years ago that within 20 years there wont be an English national team anymore.

Yea! But we predicted this years ago. The national team is but an end of term event, if you are lucky. The last World Cup I attended was 2006, and it 's doubtful that there will be another local one in my lifetime. Thus the Euro championship, for me, is now the senior competition. The problem is the amount of cash within the domestic game and I don't need to remind the Forum Thatcherites that you can't buck the market. It's all about the Premiership.

I have been past a few times and it looks very nice. One of my colleagues is a season ticket holder at the New York stadium.

It would seem you were both on the ball compared to me. I forgot about the cut off date and ended up paying a bit more this season  Having said that I can't complain at the pricing over the last few years, it really has not changed for me.

Given the dates, I think there will be a lot more to play for for both sides this time. I'll have to get that banner started, the one with the big arrow pointing down so you can spot me
