C'mon Northern Soul!
I might need a few Dexy's at this rate.
I don't think they will win tonight - it's the end of an era for Wigan Athletic...
Well..they've turned up.
I'm in two minds.........I want Sunderland to stay up cos of the derbys
Mancini sacked
Well there's a surprise! I've gone right off City, when I was a fee paying Boro supporter I always respected them: great, loyal, friendly 'local' team and fans... but they've become waaaay too big for their boots. They hardly showed up on Saturday: thought it was a foregone conclusion, serves them right Given Boro became my OH's 'second team' I repaid by supporting his team, (tbf, it did help that my nephew played for both.... and your team initially Carnelian) No more, I'm done with them
So Rio has retired from international football. Is it a case of jumped before pushed?

On the same basis should you not be supporting Dirty Leeds also?
There are limits GJ! And remember what that barsteward Leeds fan did to my car
So Happy!
So Happy!
Congratulations
Alan Hansen has reportedly decided to quit Match of the Day.
The football pundit is said to have told producers that he will leave the BBC show after the 2014 World Cup, The Sunreports.
Last year, it was revealed that Hansen was paid Β£1.5 million a year for his role on Match of the Day, which was later reduced to Β£1 million.
BT Sport have allegedly attempted to poach him for their new lineup of shows, but Hansen reportedly wants to quit TV altogether for the time being.
A source said: "Alan is sad to go but he's had a fair run at it. It was more or less a mutual decision between him and the BBC.
"He's not currently considering any other offers and is looking forward to some time off. He is nearly 60 now and he's got more than enough money to retire."

Not really a big loss for me, his depressingly sad delivery will not be missed by me one bit, and while you are at it Hansen, take Shearer with you and Garth Crookes and that lemon Martin Keown and not forgetting Robbie Savage. I think that's all, yes, that's all folks.

1.5 m for a Liverpool old boy to mumble about the deficiencies of defences. Not bad work if you can get it!
So it would seem Manure fans have been offering Β£1000 to West Brom fans for their tickets. Manure have just gone 2-0 up, the Manure fans celebrate and are promptly given a right old kicking by WBA fans!
Football, not really that important to either spend so much on a ticket and to beat up an opposing support - *sigh*
WBA 5 Man UTD 5
Second half hat-trick from Romelu Lukaku!
RIP Brian
Nothing but good memories though

Malaga manager Manuel Pellegrini says he has a verbal agreement to succeed Roberto Mancini at Manchester City http://bbc.in/ZelfPd #mcfc
A very good coach by all accounts - but coach rather than manager.
I'd be the mini-bus for six larger than large
