Liverpool are my number one, hate them.

Even though their fans were treated like shit by the police and Thatcher and scousers generally match my political views much more than Norfolk Tories.

Mainly because they always turn over Norwich - every single time!  Also because Norfolk seems to have more plastic 'pool fans than plastic Man U fans and the most twatish pundits are nearly always Liverpool old boys going on about how that 'natural sense of humour' and 'the best fans in the world'.  So that wouldn't include the legions of Liverpool 'fans' who've never been to Liverpool!  That Liverpool exceptionalism really winds me up!

Most of all, they always beat Norwich!!!

Deserved more than a kick in the ribs if you want my honest opinion. Either do your job or sod off.

On the other hand why try to kick the ball from under the kid in the first place?
A stupid thing to do and it cost him and his club....

Because as I said, the kid was smothering the ball... you can see it for yourself, he's not even attempting to let go of the ball when Hazard attempts to take it away. So he kicks it out. Then of course Swansea saw that as a reason to attempt to get him sent off.

You can see it for yourself.

The kid even tweeted four hours ago.

"The king of all ball boys is back making his final appearance "

They knew exactly what they were doing, Sky even showed an incident before that with Lampard asking the ref to check the watch as the ballboys were slow to get the ball.

Made me raise my eyebrows when he posted a picture about his new audi s-line.

More to it than meets the eye then?

Still no need for the *kicking incident* though..

I don't understand the media obsession with so-called giant killing. I enjoyed the several occasions I saw Darlo beat big teams particularly in the League Cup. But the rest of the time the media has no interest whatsoever, preferring instead to showcase stories such as, Fergie is annoyed, Fergie calls someone an idiot, Fergie goes to the toilet, Fergie beats the Japs, Fergie learns to fly. Unknown footballer might have kicked ball boy.

Absolutely agree.  I suppose it's the only time of the year the press and pundits realise there's football clubs that aren't in Manchester, Liverpool or London.

It's only six seasons ago that Norwich and Luton were both in the championship, so I don't think Luton saw it as quite the event the media will be puffing it up to be.

For most of their history Luton and Norwich have been in and around the same division with Norwich being a bit better supported.

Luton turned over the premier league's currently weakest side that has been a consistently rubbish FA Cup side for decades.

Nice rant there GJ

I expect the sports press will be full of how much of a shock this is for Norwich to lose to Conference side.  How unexpected it is.  Well, if they checked out Norwich's record in the FA Cup, they'd know that Norwich are a truly shit FA cup side so they'd know that it's par for the course.  This is just another embarrassing no show in a cup match to add to all the others.

I'd prefer it if the club didn't even bother to put themselves in the draw for a competition they couldn't care less about.

We have now struggled against Hastings and then Aldershot but at least we are there in the last sixteen. I would prefer MKD or Luton in the next round but let's be honest, we aren't going to win the FA Cup. Maybe a home draw against one of the big Lancashire clubs would give us the opportunity for a full house and again the chance of mocking them.

I don't expect Norwich to win the FA Cup but it would be nice if, just for once, they didn't either get hammered by a club above them or get turned over by a club well below them.

If it was a one off, I'd be annoyed, but it's not, it's a annual event.  Saw them not give a shit against Leicester in the cup last year and thought 'sod that, I'm not spending Β£30 for another no-show'.  At least I saved my money this season

I ******* hate the FA Cup with a passion!  26,000+ at Carrow Road today to witness that absolute shit.  I honestly think they shouldn't enter the competition because they're just ripping off fans.

Well I'm not a betting man, but right at this point I would be quite happy having predicted Oldham 1 Liverpool 0. At 2 mins in way too early though!

Yes, the Liverpool players seemed way more aggressive and physical than the Oldham player who I thought had a reasonable case for going for the ball. Felt a little like the bigger club being protected to me.

Hoping it stays 1-1 till 88 mins and Oldham sneak a winner...
