Who knows? When Rooney was taking a corner in front of the City fans you could see all manner of objects whizzing past his head whilst the stewards just stood and watched.

Its a disgrace that that should happen in any football ground but you would have thought that the stewards and the police would have been forewarned knowing it would be such an intense local derby. 

It does make you wonder who was in charge of planning and security and if they should be.....

Just seen some footage on the tv of Rio Ferdinand taunting the Man City before and after the "coin throwing incident" 

Watching MOTD 2. They showed a message which seemed to celebrate that incident.

He seemed to be facing his own fans, the coin arrived from the right.

I have just been watching an Italian footie game on tv. You have to admire their players. They chop limbs off in tackles but still use that Italian "hands together in a forward and backwards rocking motion" of innocence when booked

Clearly Ferguson is a good football manager, but comments like these just make him look rather foolish.

 

It makes me wonder, as his age advances whether we will see more of these types of comment.

 

I think what is more baffling is the sacking of O'Driscoll at Forest. Beating Weeds 4-2 and sitting 8th in the league !!!

O’Driscoll appears to have fallen victim of this crazy trend for a newly appointed chairman appointing a new manager – he could have won 10-0 yesterday and it would not have made a difference.

 

Ironic that Neil Warnock was getting the “you’re getting sacked in the morning” chant aimed at him during the game. Or maybe not… given that Leeds are under new ownership!

So no action is to be taken against Ferguson for the way he abused the referee and linesman against Newcastle. Well, now there's a surprise..NOT..
