It was like the 90s again the other night... no football streams and listening to us get bummed on the radio by Villa.
Sad to hear of the death of John Bond. Manager of Norwich in the 70s. An archetypal larger than life 1970s manager.
I was a bit too young for footie when he was manager but never the less, a time when Norwich were right up there in the old First Division playing great football. My very first match was when City thrashed Birmingham City 4-0 and Bond was still manager. The man who brought Martin Peters to Norwich, took City to the League Cup final and kept the club in the First Division until (unwisely) jumping ship for Man City in 1980.
One of the greatest managers Norwich have ever had!
we always get hammered by bleedin' Liverpool, even cr@p Liverpool sides thrash Norwich
The biggest PL test so far this season for Chelsea... and 3 points! Arsenal away is quite lucrative these days - certainly compared to some of the horror shows that i endured at Highbury through the 1990's!

Don't worry, you've got Norwich next week, so hopefully the reserves will be sent out to make it a bit more even handed.
Think Ashley Cole is going to be in a spot of bother with his latest tweet...
Frank Lampard has played 283 mins of PL football in 6 games under RDM this season. He played 405 mins in the first 6 under AVB last season.
I can sense a change coming very soon.
A walkover for Chelsea. I can't see anything but relegation for Norwich this season. We're sh***. Didn't turn up against Liverpool and rubbish against Chelsea. If a side can't be arsed to turn up at home for one of the biggest clubs in the country, then when can they bothered!
Not surprised to see Owen go. He was great for the first 15 months but it's been nothing but downwards momentum since the defeat at Wembley 18 months ago.
As much as I like him, sometimes you just need to change things to turn it around.

True. Wonder who we'll get next?
I've not got the cash for away games right now.
We had an alleged ITK type suggest that Solskjaer is the number 1 target (can't see it myself), and that Appleton of Pompey has already been interviewed. McCarthy isn't on the list.
Appleton then started popping up in stories around the web, so that either gives an interesting insight into where they get their stories, or it's the truth.
I phoned about buying the new Newcastle United Wonga.com replica shirt. Their call centre told me I could save up and buy it outright for Β£36 or have it delivered within the hour, no questions asked, and would only have to pay 65 quid for it at the end of the month, at a competitive rate of only 2285% APR
Guess the game...
GOOOAAALLLLL off Rooney's toupe !!!
What a fantastic result beating the Arsenal. Never expected that one!
*Is nervous for our derby, but we'll sort it*
Ferdinand faces T-shirt reprimand
Sir Alex Ferguson says Rio Ferdinand "will be dealt with" after opting not to wear a Kick It Out T-shirt in protest against the group.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If he could OPT mot to wear a T-shirt, then where does the reprimand and 'being dealt with' come in?
Freedman on his way then. Slight concern that he's just in the midst of an exceptional bit of form, but we shall see.
Best facts of the night..........
The cost of Man City players compared to Ajax.
The fact that one could buy 13.39 season tickets at the Veltins arena for the price of one at the Emirates.
