They should base their stadium in the Cayman Islands, play their games in the Cayman Islands and start a Cayman Islands football league where they can play local school and pub sides for a dozen games a season in front of 200 or so oligarchs and their goons.  WΒ£N£€%$

Not necessarily, we happen to be registered here in the UK and pump a hue amount of money into east Manchester, yet for some reason City are the club that gets all the flack... Not a week goes by without the usual "clubs should be run just like the great Manchester united"

It's all Spurs and Arsenal on twitter. Morgan has been sounding off about RVP. The point is that the big teams are living in absolute luxury, sucking up all of the money, and their fans have no room to complain. My local team on the left have been demoted four divisions and I doubt that my local team on the right will have 10k regulars. One hopes that one of the top two, four, six, or whatever it is now crash and burn at some point.

Given Man U's Cayman Isles tax dodging, it would be just deserts if it were them.

You are such a hypocrite Carnie

Or is it alright to have a couple of parties who always win in government?

How so? I don't see what the first past the post electoral system - which I didn't even vote for in the last referendum - has to do with my view that Man U should leave English football.  They don't want to contribute to the very country that has made them the club they are, they should should bugger off to the Cayman Islands or set up in LA or New York.  I'm sure Posh & Becks would be all for that!

So Man U will be able to get better players because they're not paying their taxes, which you may think is wonderful because it's your club, but you'd be a hypocrite to then criticise tax avoiders like Jimmy Carr.

ah the standard reply when you can't defend the indefensible.  That's fine, but why not just put your hands up and say "Yes, I'm against tax avoidance but my club comes first, so as far as I'm concerned, they're a special case to me.  If it were another club, I'd condemn it, but as it's my club, I won't.  I can't defend their actions, so I won't try."?

Standard reply to a standard ABU post; what did you expect?
