I thought we'd do well to finish 2nd on goal difference, so winning the group by 3 clear points is certainly a nice surprise. I'm not very confident about the Italy game though, unless Balotelli implodes or something.

Meanwhile, Matt Mills is supposedly on his way to the Reebok from Leicester. Sven signed him for Β£5m last summer, but Pearson hates him apparently.

I don't think it would have made any difference in which countries went through from Group D if the referee had given the goal to Ukraine. The result would then have been a draw. England would still have been top of the table with 5 points. Both France and Ukraine would have 4 points. As France beat Ukraine, France would have remained in second place. So no effect.

.......apart from the fact that one of the Ukraine gadjies was offside in the run up to the goal anyway. Step ladder and Platini don't like us to win.

Various groups including the polis lost the Darlo appeal yesterday. We have been demoted four divisions, we have lost the name, we can't take part in any competitions. We are voting on a new name. Northern League teams will be quaking in their boots. The FA are a bunch of sock cooking mofos and I'll tell 'em that as soon as I find their twitter system. Doesn't look good for Rangers.

Not many like that these days...

Middlesbrough handsome. Redcar tough.

Meanwhile.... Looking forward to tonight's game. Much as though I like the team, I'm getting rather fed up of the over confident German Facebook pages and to be honest would not shed a tear if by some fluke the Greeks hammered them.
