Not if Barton's got any thing to do with it. He seems to have no regard for anyone but himself.
There's a limit though surely?
Pusss cat ..meoww!
You can't go round kicking players in the back of the legs deliberately... or elbow them in the face. That's how injuries occur, if they want to stop the best players playing, then mark them up and cut them out the game... not go out to put them out the game.
I understand it's a pain in the backside when players go down at a soft touch... what he did wasn't exactly a "soft" touch though... the game goes completely out the window if players are allowed to go about giving the best players a dead leg. Even worse that he tried it after he was sent off and a stoppage.
It looks like Chelsea are struggling to get Gary Cahill and David Luiz fit for the CL final next weekend:

Could be starting the game with two make-shift centre backs! Pity Alex wasn't retained!
On the plus side Bayern Munich were thrashed 5-2 by Borussia Dortmund at the weekend in the German cup final. Dortmund are very much the dominant club in Germany at the moment.

Yes I watched that later on. An excellent result!
However, that was the Westphalian's cup final. The cheating Bavarians have their eyes on the big prize.

That's an interesting interpretation. I don't want to take anything away from City, because over the years their fans have stuck with 'em through thick and thin, and they now have a beneficial owner who is more interested in what he can put in rather than take out.
So in general terms. Increasingly we have a number of players who make a sport out of winding up players for an hour or so, and then go running after the officials, when they finally retaliate. I've had enough of all this play acting. If like me you watched your grandkid's leagues you would notice that they are copying this sort of behaviour. It's all very well saying, "Ignore them!" but people at Barton's end of the Spectrum, in spite of trying, can't do it.
As for the game going out of the window, as you know I've just been to the Fatherland to watch a sell out game. I more or less got the last couple of tickets. My friends said, "But GJ, they are 30β¬ apiece!!" They still can't get their heads around our pricing. The game was as good as anything I've seen this season, and they didn't have a bunch of overpaid tarts falling over for no apparent reason.
Looks like McLeish is gone:
Well Joey Barton you made a complete and utter w*nker of yourself..yet again..when will you grow up or at least get a brain that functions?
They should throw the book at you..preferably with a huge brick inside of it. It may knock some sense into you. Though I have my doubts
This is bloody brilliant, "They got love bites and everyfink!"
Got to laugh at Blackburn fans... now had the fan who had the footage released it early before the season had even started, the board would've sacked him immediately
Euro 2012 squad tomorrow... and apparently.
Ferdinand out, Walker out (inj), Crouch out, Carroll in... and the most bizarre one of all, is that despite Walker being out injured, Micah Richards has also been left out
As it happens and amongst the high street turf accountants........
Spain 5/2
Germoney 3/1
Holland 7
England 9
France 11
Stewart Downing is also in... Has he actually made an assist this season?

36 league games, 0 goals, 0 assists.
As an example of someone left out... Lennon - 23 league games, 3 goals, 7 assists.
England squad for Euro 2012:
Goalkeepers: Joe Hart (Man City), Rob Green (West Ham), John Ruddy (Norwich)
Defenders: Glen Johnson (Liverpool), Phil Jones (Man United), John Terry (Chelsea), Joleon Lescott (Man City), Gary Cahill (Chelsea), Ashley Cole (Chelsea), Leighton Baines (Everton)
Midfielders: Theo Walcott (Arsenal), Stewart Downing (Liverpool), Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (Arsenal), Steven Gerrard (Liverpool), Gareth Barry (Man City), Frank Lampard (Chelsea), Scott Parker (Tottenham), Ashley Young (Man United), James Milner (Man City)
Forwards: Wayne Rooney (Man United), Danny Welbeck (Man United), Andy Carroll (Liverpool), Jermain Defoe (Tottenham)
Standby players: Jack Butland (Birmingham City), Phil Jagielka (Everton), Jordan Henderson (Liverpool), Adam Johnson (Manchester City), Daniel Sturridge (Chelsea).
It's also worth pointing out that it was Carroll on the end of those Downing crosses leading to that 0 assist tally.
Will be fun seeing that repeated during the tournament.
That's about as good as it gets.
In and amongst the crap he has the main players.
No-one expects anything so he might end up surprising us.
King Kenny has left the so-called bin dippers according to our football forum.
Liverpool fan outside Anfield on TV :"Problem with Kenny is you should never go back"
Reporter:"Who would you have now?"
"Rafa"
Shame Holty's not in the side is all I'll say! Second Prem English goalscorer after Rooney and has scored against all the top sides but not good enough for bloody England. Woy should have taken a chance on Holt. What's the worse that could happen? England have a shit tournament? Oh, that will be a change! (sarcasm set to 100%)

Bayern doing a very good job of making themselves the most hated club in the world... they may even surpass Man Utd, some f*cking feat that It's every week their president has something to say.
The last time we had such a comeback (Gillingham)... in the same week an English side went into the Champions League final and did the same against Bayern Munich.
That's me down the bookies in the morning
Any club that has 12,000 of their season tickets available at the equivalent of Β£104 canβt be all bad, surely?

I dislike the cheating Bavarians as much as you do, but that's fair comment IMO. The Germans have a different ownership set up to us.

Indeed.
Now that the Panini season is upon us....
I always run my own book and assist the grandson, and my friend in Hamburg.
If I was a footballer I think that I would have a photo professionally done and submit it. There are some beauts in there. She reckons Germany are the most fugly, I think it's a bit nearer to home.
I can't believe Zat Knight is negotiating a new contract. I was hoping that we'd seen the last of him...
Klasnic, Reo-Coker, Gardner and Steinsson have all gone along with a bunch of wasters like Sean Davis, Robbie Blake and Paul Robinson. It was revealed that Sean Davis cost the club Β£5.4million in wages. He played 3 times in 3 years.
Jussi is in talks but it's pretty much expected he'll walk. West Brom was a rumoured destination.
He's such a tool

You would think after last time he would've learned his lesson... Guess not. Just like some of our fans and the stupid tattoos.
