Bugger! Before the wit-er-knee news took over last night, I was listening to the R5 phone in. Comedy gold! Stacks of baffled lancs 'phoning in speaking thusly, "Suarez didn't shake his hand!" "evra tricked him into not shaking his hand!" "Ferdinand looked at him in a funny way!" Close your eyes and it was like being back in the primary schoolyard. What a bunch of tarts!

The Liverpool manager hasn't endeared himself to anyone either by saying nothing on the subject..

There is no place in "real life" or football for racism..Suarez is in idiot for what he said and was punished, quite rightly, for it but how long is this saga going to go on?

And as for this hand-shaking lark..What a load of rubbish..Get rid of it because it serves no purpose whatsoever..They shake hands and the next thing they are making two-footed leg breakers..Lets get back to football not this sham that is called football now..

I reiterate what I said earlier..There is no place in "real life" or football for racism.......

I'm good thank Jensen

GaGa wont let me post in quotes

The handshaking lark is a nod towards sportsmanship and intention to conduct the match in accordance to the rules of fair play.  OK, that may be bullshit, but still nice to see before a match.

There's nothing wrong with players showing courtesy towards the opposition before a match.

As you say, Suarez was a fool, as was Dalglish.  Fergie was right to berate Dalglish for his conduct - unbecoming of his club's stature.  I'm no fan of whiny, temperamental Fergie and his thin skin, but he was right on this occasion, IMO.

I reckon Tevez may of killed his chances of playing again...

This evening he said:

1) The man who earns around Β£200k a week doesn't like playing on Christmas Day or New Years Day

2) Mancini treated him like a "dog"... he has a point there, Harry Redknapp gives his dog Β£200k a week for doing nothing also.

3) Went on to big up Ferguson, Rooney, Giggs and Scholes.

Well it's nice to return to mediocrity for a while. Fourth place is looking like a dream for us at the moment and it's been a long time since we were in that position. Final four will probably be (in this order) Man Utd, Man City, Spurs and Arsenal, leaving us and Liverpool to fight for fifth.

I can't see Newcastle maintaining their form, we might just scrape fifth with King Ku Klux Kenny doing his level best to mess up Liverpool despite them having some decent players.

Bloody hell, get in there now. A bargain and a half specially if you get promotion.
