I was mightily impressed by Caroll last season and am glad to see that he has kept it up. When the current England dross are swept away I hope that he will figure in a new more successful set-up, and remain on Tyneside too.

Either way it's not everyday that a Middlesbrough fan can look at a Newcastle player and admit to being impressed. Slightly on the same subject, one of my favourite moments of last season was being on the bus from the pub to the Riverside and hearing Bernie Slaven call Nolan over-rated rubbish. He was already in double figures!

Piss all around...not just our own players but Mike Dean aswell. That was possibly Tevez's worst game ever in a City shirt, missed an open net which cost us a point at least.
Don't think I need to say much on Richards... gave Sunderland a penalty in 93 mins. We will never hit Champions league without a decent RB. You know your in deep 5hit when you play defensive against a mid table side for 80 mins And then when we need a goal we take Tevez off and send on Jo?
It was a typical City performance... lose it in last minute. Its actually quite sickening seeing Richards in a City shirt. Amazing how one player can cost you the game. Best offload him to Spurs, Redknapp has always been interested in him.
