I don't see any point in Bolton sacking Coyle. At this moment in time are you likely to attract a significantly better manager?

With key players to come back from injury and some fresh faces bought with funds from a possible Cahill deal you could potentially have a decent second half to your season.

/rant off.

Very disappointing that they failed to hold out for all 3 points - especially with the way results have gone today.

Hopefully 3 points on Thursday night versus Spurs!

Holding on is exactly what AVB was trying to do. Holding on to emerge victorious over... wait for it...

WIGAN! Absolutely pathetic and any manager that brings on Kalouless ahead of Torres can just sling his hook pronto.

I don't disagree, but in these situations it normally results in a managerial change, or a massive spending spree in the transfer window (with Nigel Quashie being one of those signed to get relegated with yet another club), and I can't see that happening because there isn't much money even with Cahill being sold.

To be honest I think losing Sturridge was a big blow for you. He had a lot to do with how well you played last season. I'm amazed we finally brought him back, it seems to be the thing to do at Chelsea these days 'Blimey he's good, ship him out on loan'. Just as well, he's one of the few players we have who actually play like they give a shit.

WBA winning yesterday good too.

I've been wondering where you've been Darlo. Lovely to see you here, hope you stick around now xx

Dagleish (however he spells it!) said last week that they will appeal if he is found guilty so the ban won't start for 14 days at least. Interesting that 5live are reporting that the FA found him guilty of misconduct rather than coming out and saying racism. Doesn't he have another charge pending? I seem to remember something else he was getting heat for.

I'd like to see the FA act even handedly if Terry is found guilty of a similar offence. We all know how much leniency the big named England players get from refs every game, it'll be a joke if he is guilty and doesn't get the same punishment.

Wolves just equalised at Norwich, Blackburn sound really poor from the radio commentary

I think it will gel Liverpool together more than ever, us against the world attitude. Hoe we smash Wigan tomorrow night.

I can't believe that it is just on the word of Evra though RR. Evra is a James Blunt of the highest order, you wouldn't buy a used car from him!

If Liverpool are correct in saying that no one else heard the supposed 11 racial insults or whatever it was then they must have video evidence

Ello you   Believe me, I'll be cheering you on tomorrow. I'm just glad we're done before Christmas with a win.

Our Boxing Day game against Wolves might be cancelled because of the proposed tube strike along with limited or non existent trains on some mainlines

What concrete evidence? There's going to be a trial and since you seem to be the only person in the entire world who has 'concrete evidence' I suggest you put yourself forward as a key witness.

It's beyond ridiculous. The programme is pre-recorded anyway so if anyone should get flack it's the producer for leaving it in. Soon nothing on TV will be live and everyone will have a script to read from which is first checked by lawyers for material that people can find offensive. God knows what they'll do when they're deprived of things to get offended by, hopefully they'll all f***ing explode in frustration.

For Hansen's generation though (and I'm 50) we were always told that saying someone was black was rude and that the polite way to refer to a person of colour was 'coloured'.

I know it's now the other way round but I honestly think everyone is over reacting. He clearly didn't mean to cause offence.

As for the game tonight - I'm just glad that Spurs didn't win!

FM

Great game tonight. I didn't want a great game though I wanted three points. Monkey Man Bale was diving like his life depended on it and Ramires seemed determined to win the most pathetic attempts at scoring open goals in one match award.

That's us out of the title race and probably Spurs too. Chelsea, Spurs, Liverpool and Arsenal all scrapping for third and fourth well you can't say it's not exciting eh?
