Might be your Cahill that scores though Disley!!
Was it Cahill that scored Disley? The beeb were giving the scorer as someone else on the tv but were saying it was Cahill on the radio.
Joe - your ref probably had 'scared of Fergieitis! Different Fergie, same reffing. Although the ref at OT obviously hadn't read the script!!
We were rubbish today from what I'm hearing from mates at the game - will watch the game tomorrow on the Arsenal player.
I'm going Tuesday to watch us get slaughtered by City's second string - ho hum
Deckchairs fans were chanting Bruce out at the end of the game apparently!
Lol you should try spelling our bunch!! Yeah the beeb tv were saying Vellios or whatever he's called but 5 live were saying Cahill. I did think of you when they said it.
What do you think is wrong at Bolton?
That pees you off quicker than almost anything else. We've had too many gutless players and performances too at Arsenal over the last few seasons. I actually think that we've got much better players now from the point of view of digging in and having a bit of a never say die attitude but they do get complacent - hence the late goal conceded on Wed and not turning up much today.
I still think your team and manager are good enough to to get a top ten finish but you need to start picking up wins to get the confidence back
I don't think I've ever heard a post-match summary from Colin where Norwich were concerned that's not been ungracious in defeat.
Colin isn't a good loser is he? What a twat that bloke is.
Ha ha, Norwich 2-1 QPR
Gary Speed has been found dead at his home in Chester according to bbc reports just now, apparently he committed suicide by hanging himself.
R.I.P Gary.
Sponnggeeyy
That's incredibly shocking news, both the news he's died apart from the rumours around the cause of death.
Don't know what to say.
RIP Gary. Condolences to his family and friends
veggieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee xxxx
i was shocked when i saw it,i thought it was some sick wind up you get from time to time on the net.
but it's true...confirmed by the welsh f.a and his family gave permission for the press release.
he was 42......makes you wonder what on earth made him do it,he must've been desperate
RIP Gary Speed
Sometimes things in life are just more important than football.
That's the thing with mental health issues though Spongey, people with them hide them because of the prejudice that society has towards them.
I just don't know how football managers deal with the pressure without their mental health collapsing. There are times when I can't listen to a game or watch it because I'm so tense and stressed.
Gawd only knows how much worse it is for the managers. They have nowhere to hide.
RR You're right. He has two young lads apparently - his poor family
you're exactly right veggieeeeeeee....it's stressful enough for supporters, god only knows how the managers cope, and sadly you're also right on people hiding mental health issues
and r.r...so true...this is when football supporters come together when something like this happens
I'm stunned. It's a massively different feeling to when Nat Lofthouse died earlier this year, seeing as I actually saw Gary play as part of what was arguably the finest team since those days. So sad.
Craig Bellamy has withdrawn from the Liverpool squad for the game today.
How did you hear that about Bellamy? I'm off out later to watch the Liverpool game, I bet there will be a minutes silence, and rightly so.
Seen it on RAWK.
Actually really disappointed with today's result we should have won and would have were it not for Joe Harte having the game of his life.
Carling Cup tonight
Think out B team can beat Chelsea B team! Maxi, Carroll, Kuyt, Spearing, Kelly and Bellamy should have enough skill and experience to beat the Londoners.
Think KD has already told Liverpool fans that he's putting out a bunch of kids River at least that's what I heard on the radio.
I'm off to the Emirates tonight. I'm not expecting to win. City's B team could get a CL place I reckon.
Just want to see us compete, come through with no injuries or sendings off.
Oh and for someone to dump Nasri on his arse!
I fully expect our old boys to come back and haunt us though

Yea but I would imagine all of the above aside maybe Kuyt will get a game. Carroll needs a game. I am really frustrated with Kenny I want Carroll to get a full game he would have scored the winner on Sunday had Hart not had the game of his career. I wonder is Kenny just trying to build up his hunger or something. I would say Kenny will have Chelsea underestimate Liverpool and then put out a fairly strong team (for a cup fixture) Suarez, Agger, Pepe, Lucas and Adam should all get rest. Then the likes of Carra who haven't played in a while will play.
Veggie, don;t think like that I don;t believe City are as good as everyone allows they are, if you let them they will capitalise on it but if you close them down give them no time on the ball they will grow frustrated. Keep the faith!
Thanks River, I'm trying lol. Good luck to you tonight.
Good luck to Boro too Joe, let's hope we're all celebrating come 10pm
Haha just saw a mental statistic that Torres has scored more League goals for Liverpool in 2011 than for Chelsea.
Indeed! A great piece of business by Liverpool.
What's our chances agains't Chelsea at the weekend?
I like that answer Joe
he he, Burnley 4-0 Ipswich
Awwww why can we play Chelsea every week!!
Well done River and hard luck Joe
Just back from the Emirates. I thought our second string competed pretty well with their mercenaries. The goal was a bit of a sickener - hoped we'd got out of the 'set piece for us, goal for the opposition' rut that we were in for much of the last couple of seasons.
I have no voice left as I spent the whole 90 minutes singing. Nasri got the worst reception I've ever seen an ex player get in the Wenger era. Toure got a warm reception and came and clapped the North Bank.
All in all I'm not too disappointed - except in Chamakh who was woeful all night. If some French club really want to pay 10 million for him I'd snap their hand off
I was keeping an eye on TT for the Ares game and was hoping it would get to extra time at least or you would snip it at the end! Still Veggie its no shame losing to City, and it Dzeko and Aguero and Nasri were playing it wasn't an overly weak team they had out!
It was a total first team they put out River, or at least full of players that would walk into most PL clubs first teams.
They did put some kid no one had heard of on at the end but it just shows you what money can do.
Lucas Leiva is out for 6-9 Months with a knee injury
Our best player this year.
Just to add, the Chelsea fans booed him off the pitch when he was on a stretcher. Classy bunch.
