Can i swear... LOUDLY???

Dear oh dear - what a shambles! For several weeks the only talk of Chelsea related to them going about their business quietly - but remaining in touch with the two Manchester clubs. Back to back PL defeats, multiple dismissals and serious allegations facing the club captain; now daylight has opened up between Chelsea and the leaders - plus several clubs are putting third position under threat. Crisis at The Bridge - or just a blip?

Cue us to win on Monday then. You're only above us on two goals difference

No worries mate. They could well have been chanting stuff in Belgium but this whole racism stuff is going mad at the mo.

the latest is that RVP's goal celebration was a Nazi salute according to some thicko stirrers. They should realise that when they falsely claim racism where none exists, it  causes problems for those who are genuinely suffering racism

Read this earlier, a player continues to play and scores two days after his sons death... but Carlos Tevez can't be arsed just to warm up for Β£200k.

Respect to Sharpe.

Indeed!

Useful 3 points for Boro though that keeps them well in touch with West Ham.

Hi all long time no visit

Happy with Liverpool's good win on Sunday over Chelsea- all the talk was of the two ex reds and it was an ex blue who did the damage!!

Veggie you must be delighted with Arsenal's run of form- RVP is just incredible and excellent for my fantasy football team too!! You will be in with a good shout for top 4 if it continues.  The two Manc clubs are shoe-ons for 2 of the CL places, City almost certs for the league, they just have incredible strength in depth. United are going through a bad spell atm they are getting results but are far from convincing, Rooneys positional change means they have lost their biggest threat up front. The CL shows that both teams are beatable.

Chelsea are in a terrible place at the minute they seem to have trouble finding an on form forward with Lampard doing most of the work. Mata is a tremendous signing very creative. Ramires is coming of age but still is a bit too naive at times. Luiz is very unpredictable and has often been the cause of conceding goals mostly pens.

Spurs are off to a flyer after an early blip against the 2 Mancs, they are going 1000mph but its very hard to keep that up all season. Over the winter will be a big test for them if they can keep that same tempo up.

As for Liverpool, we care so unpredictable. We have taken a total of 7 points off Chelsea and Arsenal away and Man United at home. We need to raise our game for City on Sunday but for some reason Liverpool can raise their game for big teams but struggle with the weaker teams which is quite worrying and it often why Liverpool miss out come the end of the season.

Newcastle are doing brilliantly and I'm glad as I really like them and their style of play (Ashley is still a prick though), I don't know if they can keep top 4 status til the end of the season but I would love them to at least get some form of European qualification. Ba is an excellent purchase as is Cabaye.

Its not the race for 4th any more its the race for 3rd and 4th because Chelsea have self imploded of late and have tough fixtures coming up with fellow contenders (Newcastle & Spurs, and City too I think) Its any ones game!!

Morning all

Thanks for digging the thread up RR, lovely to see you back here

Yep I am ecstatic after how bad the beginning of the season was but we are still fragile defensively - prone to switching off and to shocking individual errors which needs to be ironed out if we are to stand a chance in anything. I went to the game last night and it was tense.

You must have loved beating Chelsea at the Bridge. I know we did!! They are going through a mini blip at the moment so I can feel for their fans because it is horrible when everyday there is another bad headline.

Brentford are doing ok too - you just never know which one will turn up!

Joe - hope you beat The Posh. I hate wifebeater Fergie Junior so I always want any team he manages to lose.

Did you see the story about Parkinson? Apparently Tony Mowbray is using him to help scout players even though the guy can only blink his eyes as he has locked in syndrome.

Tony Mowbray must be one of the nicest men in football,
