Owen bloody Hargreaves 25 yard cracker... looked pretty sharp aswell, good that Mancini didn't push his luck. Brought him off second half, all around decent performance. Think there is abit of a confidence issue in Tevez but just needs to start a game or two for the first team. Balotelli looks to be working his arse off, kept his head down and got on with it.
I'm just watching the Chelsea v Fulham game as it's in extra time... can understand the Chelsea fans frustration, never seen so much tippy tappy stuff Just put the ball in the net, there's backheels, stepovers and all sorts of stupid fancy flicks.
Carroll doesn't look Β£35m.
Liverpool are journeymen.
Top four? No chance.
WTF are you on about?
That was never a sending off!
Well, at least we can't go any lower after the Chelsea game next week...
No surprises in the Premiership yet today - C'mon Stoke!
Alas! If Man Utd win my son will be better off to the tune of Β£110.
I couldn't tip shite today myself.
Luck comes in runs.
i see City outbid Utd for the services of Howard Webb
5 bookings
ps. i am not saying that we deserved to win today, but 5 bookings?
5 bookings for the players that tried to kick in ours today... honestly, Silva got kicked off the park the whole game.
Most laughable part of the game was probably Cahill making a stupid slide tackle on Kompany where he ended up injuring himself I had no sympathy for him when he was lying there in pain... and then Moyes comes out with some ludicrous statement after that Kompany should be the one being investigated after Cahill went in to snap Vinnie in half

i think i was watching a different match to you mincey
guess we do all see things differently when we support different sides
Must of been barney, because what I saw was a team trying to play so tight in defense that every time they made a tackle they had taken the players legs... Rodwell attempted to mark Silva the whole game and every time he went in he hardly even got the ball.
moyes did send out a very defensive team, but if it was us with the team full of superstars and you with the very limited squad, i am sure your manager would have done the same thing
as I say, I dont think we deserved the five bookings, and if the referee was being fair, there were tackles flying in from both sides that were just as bad
There is nothing wrong with being defensive, not sure how I could pull any side up on that after the way we set up at Arsenal last season... problem is that players like Rodwell and Neville were lunging in.
Only bad tackle I saw from us was Yaya Toures... which he was booked for.
the Kompany/Cahill tackle was a bookable offence IMO and not just Cahill
hope he is ok for the derby next weekend
well done anyway *through gritted teeth*
You can't be serious? Did you see it? Cahill went in with a slide tackle and manage to bloody hurt himself... what did Kompany do?
nope, not joking he went in over the top with studs showing didnt even touch the ball, they showed it afterwards in slow-mo on SS2, you could clearly see

Kompany was the one who had the bloody ball Cahill took him out and then Vinnie pretty much fell on him.

yes Cahill tackled him first, but Kompany's studs went in on Cahill from above, and IMO should have been booked
guess we will have to differ on that one
What can Kompany do when he's sent flying into the air by Cahills tackle? Are you actually suggesting he stamped on him? Had Kompany not jumped he would of been cut by Cahill right in the leg.
we are never gonna agree, and I guess you dont agree with the pundits either ?
I know I am right Listen to pundits? Hmmm... people like Jamie Redknapp who thought it should of been Tevez on instead of Balotelli? Nope.
If a player is running at me to make a slide tackle... I've got to shield myself in some way, had Kompany not leaped, it could of been him with the injury. Cahill got what he deserved, went in to take a player out and ended up with Kompany landing on him. Luckily for us Kompany managed to quickly run it off.
It's quite simple really... if you don't want a player to be launched into the air and toppling down on you with the possibility of being caught with the studs, don't go for a needless scissor tackle.
i am more right i have 35 years experience watching mens legs in footie shorts
take your point on the Jamie Redknapp tho
Correct decision sending Torres off.... 2 footed with studs showing, straight red would be right.
Tenner on Deman's mob.
I see where you're coming from Meaty...
But 11/4
F"ck.
Bugger.
Richard Dunne That must be something like his 10th own goal now.
It was one too feckin many.
I thought it was great Right after ratboy went and named him man of the match
I'm a Mackem tonite
