Ruddy, Norwich's keeper sent off, dubious decision. It's these sorts of decisions that will get Norwich relegated. Great for Chelsea's army of glory hunters shit for Norwich, who are treated as relegation fodder by the refs and won't get any favourable decisions this season.

Carnelian

three games in and three serious and very dubious decisions against Norwich. Refereeing in the Prem is shite. It's about time the FA pulled its fingers out and analysed how often decisions go against the 'unfashionable' clubs like Norwich and how often dubious decisions go to the likes of Manure etc.  Refs being in awe or in fear of the reputation or pull of bigger clubs and their players makes a mockery of the game.  Great for the money men and glory hunters but going into a match, both clubs should be on a level playing field as far as officials go.

Carnelian

You think you've got problems Carnelian. We have Howard (I'm not really a Man Utd fan, it's just coincidence that I make decisions that always go their way) Webb for our game tomorrow.

Well that's if he's finished on his knees before Fergie by the time kick off comes around.

Did you see the research published recently about decisions? Can't remember what it was called but they adjusted the table based on correct decisions rather than what was given. Arsenal would have been 2nd and Blackpool wouldn't have gone down.

So it's not only small clubs that get screwed. They have to bring technology in and I would go further - a lot further.

But I'm too tired to list it tonight lol x

What does everyone think about Croc's suggestion in another thread that we have a new thread for the new season?

It's because threads with loads of pages don't work properly on I phones.

I don't use I phone but think it's a good idea.

Riverrock  really pleased to see you back here. I'm happy to stick with AW for the time being. I think the bigger problem is with the board and that American wanker who now owns most of the club.

And you know all about them at Liverpool, although the new one you have seems to be splashing the cash

FM

Hard Luck veggie, it could be a blessing in disguise for Arsenal to sort things out. It looks like a Manc Duopoly at the minute. Spurs and Arsenal have really went back leaving the door open for us to get 4th, Chelseas also look poor with Drogba injured, Torres off form and the new boys still not fully integrated in the team.  Its anyones game and I'd like to think we will grab this opportunity with both hands.

United, Liverpool, City & Chelsea will all be up there at the end of this season... can't see Spurs or Arsenal even coming close.

My husband is in a taxi driver fantasy thing where you put down where all the teams in the league will finish....he had his top 4 as Man U, Man C, Chelsea Liverpool with Arsenal 6th....looking good for it so far

People laughed at Dalglish for doing this this year but it shows buying ready made premiership players works, Adam, Downing and Enrique all starting to look at home. Its the first step of rebuilding is making yourself a decent team again at the minute any player worth their salt would run a mile from Arsenal due to the way they are currently playing as well as the pressure that will be heaped upon them., Wenger needs to sort it out.

Ouch.

I'd like to know how anyone in here knows what money The Arsenal have available to spend. Coz none of us fans seem able to get a straight answer.

I'm still behind AW but I'd sack the board and get rid of Kronke if I could. He does this at every club he takes over in whatever franchise. He takes a club that is sound financially, sells off it's most valuable assets and replaces them with cheap fill ins.

Wasn't AW's decision to let Na$ri go I can tell you that

FM

Well, for start there was around Β£30mil for Fabregas... and then Β£20mil for Nasri.

So Arsenal must have had Β£50mil lying around somewhere and then after the game against Udinese you got another Β£20mil coming in for qualifying for the CL. Arsenal certainly have money, i'm guessing that its just Wenger who doesn't believe he has to spend to be a success.
